Well first let me correct you, this is not a Gay Rights issue. As much as I am for equal treatment of all human beings, gay, straight, bi whatever- this is not a good idea.

This would allow any man that can dress as a woman to get into the ladies room "legally", and that opens up a big huge can of worms. The law would have to be specific to transgender only (that would be people who have gone through with an actual sex change to become the opposite sex). Allowing cross-dressers and transvestites to do this is going too far.

I personally don't understand transvestites or transgender people, but who am I to judge.

As to equal marriage rights- we ALL deserve to have the same rights regardless of what some people's religious views on the subject are.

Wrong again. You aren't guaranteed ANY rights when it's a lifestyle OF CHOICE. As far as this "closed box" you mentioned, we all know the world is full of gays that can't keep their sexual prefs to themselves anymore. And we can't keep our children in that closed box either, because you want everyone to know about your prefs. You make it everyone's business, when it should be yours and yours alone. Our kids see you on the news marching down the streets dressed like a bunch of freaks, and you want us to tell them "you're completely normal." It's bad enough the parents are exposed to that garbage. People in California are sick to death of it, and the petition has begun to ban gay marraige altogether, because you just can't shut up. You know where to go, but you prefer to spread your lifestyle across the nation. Ridiculous...

We know you can't deal with the truth. Go ahead and yell it all over this site. I really don't think anyone cares. Go to California and get married before it's outlawed, instead of shoving it down our throats.

And if you can't handle opposing views, them how about KEEPING IT TO YOURSELF!
