The three-time MVP was at his worst, and now, Green Bay can forget about the No. 1 seed in the NFC.

Brian Urlacher returned an interception for a touchdown for the first time in his career, Adrian Peterson ran for 102 yards, and the Chicago Bears beat the Packers 35-7 on a frigid Sunday afternoon. The loss wiped out the Packers' shot at home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

The Packers needed to win this game, beat Detroit next week and have Dallas lose to Washington to capture the No. 1 seed. Super Bowl XXVII was the 27th championship game of the modern National Football League (NFL). The game was played on January 31, 1993 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California following the 1992 regular season.

The National Football Conference (NFC) champion Dallas Cowboys (16-3) defeated the American Football Conference (AFC) champion Buffalo Bills (14-6), 52–17 (then a record 69 combined points). The Cowboys won their third Super Bowl in team history, and their first one since Super Bowl XII on January 15, 1978. The Bills became the first team to lose three consecutive Super Bowls, and just the second team to play in three straight (the Miami Dolphins played in Super Bowls VI-VIII, winning VII and VIII).

LAST SUNDAY WHEN THE COWBOYS PLAYED DA BEARS THE SPECULATION IN THE BROADCAST BOOTH WAS ARE THE COWBOYS STILL AMERICAS TEAM AND THAT THE DA BEARS WERE REALLY AMERICAS TEAM WELL THE COWBOYS CLEARED UP THAT QUESTION ,DONT YA THINK LOL.
