Finally the NFL and Commissioner has cleared Pacman Jones to practice with the Cowboys.  It seems like they took forever to get it done.  I'm sure the Cowboys are one of the few teams that can handle this type of media coverage and mentoring that it will take to make sure he stays out of trouble.  It would almost seemed like Roger Goodell was doing everything he could to make sure he wouldn't play again.  I hope that Pacman has remained in 'Football' condition.  This is a team that he can thrive on.  I welcome him and give him a second chance here in Dallas!  This is Texas.. it's about Football and Championships.

After 17 years, Brent Farve retired.  It is a well deserved rest for a guy that gave his al on the football field.  Next to Montana and Aikman and Farve was one of my favorite QB's in the last 25 years.  I was blessed to see him play several times in person and it was nothing less than spectacular.  Even for this die hard Cowboys fan, I'm a Farve fan.  It's too bad that Green Bay couldn't sign Randy Moss.  I truly believe that he retired out of frustration with his teams management. 

So to the  future HALL OF FAME Farve... Best Wishes... see ya in the broadcast booth!

I have always been a Mark Cuban fan... but now that I've said that...

I can't believe Cuban has gone thru with this trade.  Yes, Jason Kidd is a great point guard.  Can he contribute to a team with hard work, hustle, and relentless offensive pressure. Yes!  But is it worth giving up 5 current players and some future drafts? NO!

Jason Kidd is a older version of Steve Nash!.  He's not as quick, his jump shot isn't as good, and he's a bigger baby than Steve Nash ever was and will be.  This trade would have been much better if we aquired Kobe Bryant and not Jason Kidd. 

If I'm proven wrong, I'll be the 1st to admit it.  But I don't see this working in the Mavs favor.

Now that football season is over...

I wonder who is going to win the NBA championship this year. 

As a Mavs fan.. I'm concernced that the Mavs don't have what it takes.  As much as I luv Dirk,  he lacks the mental toughness and the low post presence that it takes to be a play off dominating player. 

I hate to say this... but San Antonio looks good enough to be a champion again.

I am very happy to see the Patriots win.  I know that the regular season record is a difficult goal to achieve.  But if ya don't win the championship... IT DOESN'T MEAN ANYTHING. 

I proud that a NFC team won... and I'm glad the Giants won!

For this cowboy fan...it was the lesser of 2 evils... CONGRATS GIANTS FANS!

I still don't think the Patriots will lose this year.  I'd rather see the Giants lose than see my Dallas Cowboys lose.  Next year, we'll have a better chance to win a Super Bowl.  I'm sure the O line will fix the problems..and our secondary will be stronger.

I'm still in shock over the loss on Sunday.  It almost looked like the Bill Parcel coached team.  But I'll be really disappointed if we lose both of our cordinators.  I really think they need to change the rules on when NFL teams can interview working canidates.  That way it's fair to the teams that need to focus on the season.  After the Super Bowl, everyone is available to interview.  I truly think all the assistant coaches were distracted!

Maybe we'll have a good draft and free agency.
