After 17 years, Brent Farve retired.  It is a well deserved rest for a guy that gave his al on the football field.  Next to Montana and Aikman and Farve was one of my favorite QB's in the last 25 years.  I was blessed to see him play several times in person and it was nothing less than spectacular.  Even for this die hard Cowboys fan, I'm a Farve fan.  It's too bad that Green Bay couldn't sign Randy Moss.  I truly believe that he retired out of frustration with his teams management.

So to the  future HALL OF FAME Farve... Best Wishes... see ya in the broadcast booth!

Best wishes to Favre. Although, I believe I heard him say a few years back that when he retired, he'd be as far away from football as possible.

He mentioned that after retireing he'd love to do more of what he loved doing second best, that is hunting and playing golf.

Who knows though, having been in football so long, he may find it hard to stay too far away.

His retirement make me even prouder of my Favre autograph collection. Every jersey he wore, from high school to Greenbay including the autographed helmets to go along with the autographed jerseys and 8x10's. :) Will stay in the family for generations to come.

I wished I could take credit for that. Truth is my nieces actually build that. They did one heck of job for 3 kids that stands shorter than the Snowman.

You can come to saginaw and haul some snow away because we still have alot on the ground...lol...

Well well phoint1, looks like I may have another chance for some of that white stuff. Come on snow, I want to make a Favre snow man. It'll wear a Favre jersey and a cheese head. Would make a great Avie.

Hey Idate, did you ever see him play at Lambeau? Man, that's one place I never saw him at, would have loved to see him play there. I really thought this comming season would be my chance since the Cowboys are heading to the frozen tundra this season. Too bad he's not gonna be quarter backing.

Like elsewhere, single game tickets are always available to Lambeau games but they are so freaken expensive! Then if you get some ticket, there's no place to stay at cause every hotel/motel in or around Lambeau within 50 mile radius is booked seems like. I was really planning on sleeping in my suv this time if I went. LOL, then get to tailgate with the fans.

As a Texan, two rounds of snow in one year, let alone one week is enough for me. I heard about the third round. Wherever you at my friend, I hoped you get it but, I'm good for the Year...lol...
