My boss had been fighting stomach cancer for about 3 years.

Last Oct they did some surgery on her and since then she has went down hill.

She has been in and out of the hospital since then for weeks and months on end.

She went in this time iaug 23, we got the news tuesday that it was now just a matter of days.

Then we get the call this morning that she passed last night.

Although we knew it was coming, we are just devestaded here in our Office.

So far as we know the funeral will be on tuesday  9-18-07.

She was the best BOSS in the world, I was lucky to know her.

I have to go now, to upset to write anymore.

It is always hard to lose a good friend. She sounds like she was the kind of boss a lot of people would appreciate having.

I'm so sorry, sometimes life just doesn't seen fair, does it?

If she was suffering I'm sure it is a relief to know she is at ease and without pain.

I hope time will make it eaiser for your loss.

It is such a tribute to hear an employee speak well of a departed boss. I remember when my husband's boss passed on, he had been a really nice guy, but some of the jerky new people were too "busy" to go to the funeral. My husband and I went. His wife was so happy ANYONE remembered him. There were so few people there. I think it's so sad when someone has become so forgotten than nobody bothers to come.

Kim, I’m sorry to hear that.

This is like a double whammy huh? Didn’t you just lose another close friend less than a year ago?

Like I said, I’m truly very sorry.
