Hugs From Heaven

When you feel a gentle breeze
Caress you when you sigh
It's a hug sent from Heaven
From a loved one way up high.
If a soft and tender raindrop
Lands upon your nose
They've added a small kiss
As fragile as a rose.
If a song you hear fills you
With a feeling of sweet love
It's a hug sent from Heaven
From someone special up above.
If you awaken in the morning
To a bluebird's chirping song
It's music sent from Heaven
To cheer you all day long.
If tiny little snowflakes
Land upon your face
It's a hug sent from Heaven
Trimmed with Angel lace.
So keep the joy in your heart
If you're lonely my dear friend
Hugs that are sent from Heaven
A broken heart will mend.

I dont know why I'm posting this other than to share with my friends.
Today i go out to take my lunch break, I'm sitting on the bench smoking my cigarette and
I notice that the ashtray is 1/4 full of water.
Floating top of the water is a monarch butterfly.
I look at the butterfly and its not moving so i'm thinking to myself, what a shame
that he/she drowned, then I see its wings barely move and I realize that its still alive.
So I reach down in the nasty brown water and lift the butterfly out of the water and laid it on the ground.
But then it starts acting like it could'nt fly, so I pick it up off the ground and placed it on a branch in the tree hoping that when its wings dry it can fly away.
Around 2 pm today the fire alarm went off in our building and everyone was rushing to get outside, so I walk over to the tree and the butterfly was gone.
I sure hope it was able to fly away. It was sad seeing it in that water, I just knew it was dead

Well as many of you know I lost my best friend @ christmas.
I was given her dog Piazon, and I love him very much.
I had to clean out Mary's apartment this past weekend.
I was asked to do this cause her daughter had the expense of paying for her mother to be flown to san diego and all the funeral expenses. I was honored to do this for her.
It was very sad going through Marys belonging and packing them up for her daughter and donating the things that were to go to the needy. And for just a brief moment I could feel and hear Marys voice.
I miss her so much, I know she is in a better place.
But I still want to call her and go to our friday night dinners, but I cant, she is gone. I need to carry on with my life.
I have lost alot of loved ones in my life, my mom, dad, grandparents, aunts, nephew, brother in law, fiance',and now my friend. I know how devestating it feels to lose a loved one.
I will miss them all and cherish them as well.
Two women

Two women were out for a Saturday stroll. One had a Doberman and the other, a Chihuahua.
As they walked down the street, the one with the Doberman said to her friend, "Let's go over to that bar for a drink."
The lady with the Chihuahua said, "We can't go in there. We've got dogs with us."
The one with the Doberman said, "Just watch, and do as I do."
They walked over to the bar and the one with the Doberman put on a pair of dark glasses and started to walk in.
The bouncer at the door said, "Sorry, lady, no pets allowed."
The woman with the Doberman said, "You don't understand. This is my seeing-eye dog."
The bouncer said, "A Doberman?"
The woman said, "Yes, they're using them now. They're very good."
The bouncer said, "OK, come on in."
The lady with the Chihuahua thought that convincing him that a Chihuahua was a seeing-eye dog may be a bit more difficult, but thought, "What the heck," so she put on her dark glasses and started to walk in.
Once again the bouncer said, "Sorry, lady, no pets allowed."
The woman said, "You don't understand. This is my seeing-eye dog."
The bouncer said, "A Chihuahua???"
The woman with the Chihuahua said, "What?? A Chihuahua? They gave me a Chihuahua?!"

Well I had to work half a day and got off @ 1:PM, so right before I left work I got a phone call from Mary's daughter in California, I called her back when I got home and we talked for 4 hour's. She has decided to let me keep Pizon (Mary's dog),
my daughter was so HAPPY!, so by the time we get off the phone the thunder storms were in full force.
So the plan's for the night except for dinner was called off and we hit our local Blockbuster, which actually was a good ideal cause she had ordered a Strawberry Diquirie with dinner and she was tipsy when we left the resturant.
We had a good time at home watching movies while it snapped crackled and popped outside.
What a way to spend your 21st birthday...

I have 1 son and at the age of 2 I knew in my heart he was not your typical little boy.
He started have Epiliptic seizures when he was 2 1/2 and I was 7 months pregnant with my daughter.
He was such a great kid, never gave me any problems, and did very well in school. He graduated in 2002 with a 3.25 GPA.
He had so many friends, all girls when he was in school and when I asked him about his male friends he would say MOM I'm not gay and in this day and age when you give your phone to a boy your considered gay. Which threw me for a loop cause I have never heard that before.
So when he was about 15 I started trying to talk to him about his prefference and he would storm out on me crying and sometimes he would not talk to me for day's and that broke my heart.
Most of his teenage years he was very depressed and cried alot.
He did not understand why he was different.
One day I sat him down and told him that no matter what he choose to do with his life that I would ALWAY'S LOVE him, and if he was Gay that I would support him to the death.
Now he is 23 and resides with a partner.
I was raised to love your children unconditonally and I hope that I have and will continue to do so, for they are all I live my life for.
My parents died in 91 and 92 so they never got to see my children grow up to the Beautiful People they are today.
I am a Blessed and very Proud mom of 2, 1 gay and 1 straight an I would not have them anyother way.
So to people that say Homosexauls dont belong in this world I will differ with you till hell freezes over.
We cant help who we fall in love with and as Americans with freedom to choose he has that right.

It did not last very long!
A couple of rednecks are out in the woods hunting when one of them
suddenly grabs his chest and falls to the ground. He doesn't seem to be
breathing; his eyes are rolled back in his head.
The other redneck whips out his cell phone and calls 911. He gasps to
the operator, "I think Bubba is dead! What should I do?"
The operator, in a calm soothing voice says, "Just take it easy and
follow my instructions. First, let's make sure he's dead."
There is a silence..........then a shot is heard.
The redneck's voice comes back on the line, "Okay, now what?"
A good one

Little Tony was staying with his grandmother for a few days. He'd been playing outside with the other kids for a while when he came into the house and asked her, "Grandma, what is that called when 2 people are sleeping in the same room and one is on top of the other?
She was a little taken aback, but decided to tell him the truth. "It's called sexual intercourse, darling.
Little Tony just said, "Oh, OK" and went back outside to talk and play with the other kids.
A few minutes later he came back in and said angrily, "Grandma, it is not called sexual intercourse! It's called Bunk Beds! and Jimmy's Mom wants to talk to you.

How ALL business phones SHOULD be answered!
GOOD MORNING,
WELCOME TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA .
Press "1" for English.

Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you:
Jesus Christ and the American Soldier.
One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.
MANY SEEM TO FORGET BOTH OF THEM
A Different Christmas Poem
The embers glowed softly, and in their dim light,
I gazed round the room and I cherished the sight.
My wife was asleep, her head on my chest,
My daughter beside me, angelic in rest.
Outside the snow fell, a blanket of white,
Transforming the yard to a winter delight.
The sparkling lights in the tree I believe,
Completed the magic that was Christmas Eve.
My eyelids were heavy, my breathing was deep,
Secure and surrounded by love I would sleep.
In perfect contentment, or so it would seem,
So I slumbered, perhaps I started to dream.
The sound wasn't loud, and it wasn't too near,
But I opened my eyes when it tickled my ear.
Perhaps just a cough, I didn't quite know, Then the
sure sound of footsteps outside in the snow.
My soul gave a tremble, I struggled to hear,
And I crept to the door just to see who was near.
Standing out in the cold and the dark of the night,
A lone figure stood, his face weary and tight.
A soldier, I puzzled, some twenty years old,
Perhaps a Marine, huddled here in the cold.
Alone in the dark, he looked up and smiled,
Standing watch over me, and my wife and my child.
"What are you doing?" I asked without fear,
"Come in this moment, it's freezing out here!
Put down your pack, brush the snow from your sleeve,
You should be at home on a cold Christmas Eve!"
For barely a moment I saw his eyes shift,
Away from the cold and the snow blown in drifts..
To the window that danced with a warm fire's light
Then he sighed and he said "Its really all right,
I'm out here by choice. I'm here every night."
"It's my duty to stand at the front of the line,
That separates you from the darkest of times.
No one had to ask or beg or implore me,
I'm proud to stand here like my fathers before me.
My Gramps died at 'Pearl on a day in December,"
Then he sighed, "That's a Christmas 'Gram always remembers."
My dad stood his watch in the jungles of 'Nam',
And now it is my turn and so, here I am.
I've not seen my own son in more than a while,
But my wife sends me pictures, he's sure got her smile.
Then he bent and he carefully pulled from his bag,
The red, white, and blue... an American flag.
I can live through the cold and the being alone,
Away from my family, my house and my home.
I can stand at my post through the rain and the sleet,
I can sleep in a foxhole with little to eat.
I can carry the weight of killing another,
Or lay down my life with my sister and brother..
Who stand at the front against any and all,
To ensure for all time that this flag will not fall."
"So go back inside," he said, "harbor no fright,
Your family is waiting and I'll be all right."
"But isn't there something I can do, at the least,
"Give you money," I asked, "or prepare you a feast?
It seems all too little for all that you've done,
For being away from your wife and your son."
Then his eye welled a tear that held no regret,
"Just tell us you love us, and never forget.
To fight for our rights back at home while we're gone,
To stand your own watch, no matter how long.
For when we come home, either standing or dead,
To know you remember we fought and we bled.
Is payment enough, and with that we will trust,
That we mattered to you as you mattered to us."
PLEASE, Would you do me the kind favor of sending this to as many people as you can? Chrimas will be coming soon and some credit is due to our U.S.service men and women for our being able to celebrate these festivities. Let's try in this small way to pay a tiny bit of what we owe. Make people stop and think of our heroes, living and dead, who sacrificed themselves for us.
