Well it is a beautiful day outside. What am I doing inside? Not really sure. I took a shower this morning as I always do and washed my hair as I do everyday. I HATE Static Electricity. My hair is so out of control today. I was going to go thru a bunch of papers, clean house and do things like that today b/c one of my favorite shows start up again this week and for the next few months it consumes ALOT of my time. Well....I think I am going to go into the laundry room, grab the bottle of Downy and head back into the shower. Maybe, just maybe a capful of Downy will get rid of my electried hair. Hmmmm, perhaps it will take a bottle of fabric softener to do the trick for as bad as my hair is today. Will fabric softener sheets work?
Stay tuned for my experiment and if you have any suggestions, I am so open to any and all EXCEPT.....shaving my head.

I am at that point in life where I would be thankful to have enough hair to fly around.

Good luck with your experiment.

Standby for breaking news. My wife just told me that if you rub a sheet of fabric softener on your hair, the static electricity will go away.

That's right, just use a fab. softener sheet... works great. Of course, doesn't do anything to stop wind damage. lol

I find it helps to wash your hair every other day instead of every day unless it is very oily. I use a conditioning shampoo and put a little conditioner on the ends (my hair is long) before combing out. When it's dry, I style & use a setting spray or hair spray to keep it in place. Works most days. Conditioners & gels are tricky - a little is good, too much will make your hair limp. Hope this helps. Happy Hair Days!!

I have very long hair, middle of my butt kind of long, and dryer sheets work great. just rub one over your hair and the static leaves :)

Dryer sheets do seem to work the best.
I don't using moose, gel, or hair spray.
I always carry a dryer sheet with me to use.
