Morality has a meaning of, the quality of being in accord with standards of right. Wow. I just read the definition but was probably sleeping in school when we studied that and just had a general definition of what it was. Hmm.

Last night my family and I stopped after watching firewords at Firewheel at an establishment that serves tacos who's last name is Cabana. I have taken my kids in there several times and finally have had enough to share my opinion. These establishments have more beer signs than most bars and clubs do. Every table has a logo on it toward some kind of beer and every wall has several neon signs and right behind the counter is a huge sign bragging that their margaritas has real tequila. I noticed a lot of children to young adults at this place. Public pressure I am not certain but they make it look to the kids like it is going to be fun to grow up and get drunk at a t.c. I know a lot of slack has been given to the tobacco companies for making too many tobacco adds available to young eyes. It is a shame that the moral voice of a parent seems to get drowned out by stuff like this. Idk.

P.s. I know a lot of self righteous people are going to respond hatefully, QUIT GOING THERE, or IT AIN'G TACO CABANAS PLACE TO PROTECT YOUR KID'S INFLUENCE. Well you're wrong, if a place is going to operate publicly and invite families into their establishment to enjoy a meal, I think they ought to be more enviromentally friendlier.

I don't get to watch fox 4 everyday. I work evenings and take care of my son in the morning before I take him to school and by the time I get back home the show is over.

I have sent several emails to fox 4 and no replies. Where is Todd? I don't like when someone leaves unless you are watching the exact time they leave then you are in the blind. Once someone leaves they are never mentioned again. I like Todd's sense of humor. My favorite episode to where I laughed out loud was when a viewer complained about Evan dancing accross the weather screen. Then the music started playing and after a collage of Even "dancing", Todd came dancing accross the screen, then it showed several members dancing. I loved it.

I wake up this morning too late for morning news thanks to my job so I watch the Texas cable news. The upside of this I can see good news from all over the state. The downside is I also see all of the bad stories from all over the state. The bad news is the bad news out numbers the good news. I wonder if it is the purpose of evil to give the perception that resistance is futile and it is better to not resist. I am trying the best way to tell why two stories in the news today brought a tear to my eyes. I wonder if the evil is like the darkness of night and good is the light that even though seems smaller than the dark shines brightly to draw us to it even lead us like a beacon. I was going to tell you the good first but decided to save it for last. Forgive me if I don't have everything exact.

Houston area two kids went missing on Father's Day. A seven yr old brother and his three yr old sister. The sad thing was that they were found five miles away burned and put inside a chest and a leather suitcase. The even sadder thing is it was the father that led them to the bodies. You must look up the story yourself and hear the particulars and look at the children in the photo and wonder what is this world coming to?

Austin area, a seven yr old boy with Cerebral Palsey made a trip to Walt Disney World. Two yrs ago he asked his dad if he learned how to walk would he take him to Disney World. Ofcourse the father said yes. They told of this boys dedication and determination for two yrs and it showed him walking with his walker into the entrance of DW. I thought that was cool. Then they told how he refused help and wanted to make the walk without any assistance, I started tearing up. We complain when we have to walk farther at the store. Shame on us. You must see this story too.

I don't know who to believe on the price of gas. First you have the Govt. blaming Big Oil, then you have Big Oil blaming the Govt. While the common person to blame is us. President Bush has told us we are addicted to foreign oil. No. We are force fed foreign oil, everyone I talk to is wondering the same thing as me, When were we given a choice. Is there a button on the pump that lets you choose foreign or domestic. I know there is that choice for beer but not for gas. I have children that doesn't live with me and I can't always afford the extra gas to drive the 200 miles it takes to get them, and that is just picking them up 400 after it's all over. I can't afford a hybrid and wan't to know, what can we do to stop this crazy thing? Why do we have oil in reserve if we never use it? What are all these oil wells in Texas pumping? Oil? How can I demand domestic oil over foreign oil? I want that choice.

Hearing all the disturbing news about the poor children makes me wonder, what is wrong with these people? First about the poor child in Garland, I can not begin to imagine what the people are going through and don't want to know, but, how can you get so comfortable outside that you go to sleep in the grass while you know you have a child that cannot take care of themselves, especially outside. I would like to know if the father was drinking. How else could you fall asleep like that. I have a young one not quiet that age but I cannot imagine him wanting to lay down that long outside for me to fall asleep. NEXT, The little baby in Saginaw, that man needs to be given a dose of his own medicine. A baby that young doesn't know what he or she is being punished for, not that this was punishment. Surely the mother knew something was going on because the doctors said there's several injuries in different stages of healing. Thank GOD that this was found out now and not at an autopsy. Why are the babies dying, if you don't want them give them to someone who will love them and give them a chance in life.

I'm a husband, a father of 4, an ex deputy, a truck driver that just got a better job spotting trailers, now I'm home everyday so I can see my wife and kids more. Also I now have a four day work week. It is nice but sucks that to start somewhere you have to start at the bottom. I write poems, they would be songs if I could play the guitar. I hate inflictors of crimes on children, elderly and more or less all criminals. I am not a saint. I am from the country and moved up here when I met my wife. I am still scratching my head wondering how that happened. I'm from Navarro county. I graduated from the coolest school in Texas. Year-round there is Frost on the water tower.
