The New Pledge of Allegiance

WRITTEN BY A 15 yr. old SCHOOL KID IN ARIZONA:
New Pledge of Allegiance (TOTALLY AWESOME and sad that it's all so true) !

Since the Pledge of Allegiance and The Lord's Prayer are not allowed in most
public schools anymore Because the word "God" is mentioned....
A kid in Arizona wrote the attached NEW School prayer :

Now I sit me down in school
where praying is against the rule

For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd.

If Scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights.

And anytime my head I bow
Becomes a Federal matter now.

Our hair can be purple, orange or green,
That's no offense; it's a freedom scene.

The law is specific, the law is precise.
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.

For praying in a public hall
Might offend someone with no faith at all.

In silence alone we must meditate,
God's name is prohibited by the state.

We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks.

They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
To quote the Good Book makes me liable.

We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,
And the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior King.

It's "inappropriate" to teach right from wrong,
We're taught that such "judgments" do not belong.

We can get our condoms and birth controls,
Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles.

But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd.

It's scary here I must confess,
When chaos reigns the school's a mess.

So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should I be shot; My soul please take!

Amen

Heres my poetic response:

Then stop paying your tax dollars
for when you do you are a follower

So you contribute to the communist way by doing it the schools way

Ask mom and dad why they're so lazy
watching tv and (trying to) making babies

Ask them why they dont care about the kids who wear the green, the red, the purple hair

Ask them why they let football be king and that includes the hip hoppers who cant even sing

Why do they pay for anything but books
when all the schools care about is the looks

Kids get bullied and the soul gets soiled
but the socialisrs in the NEA stay spoiled

with the money that mom and dad pay and you'll never ever see the day

when Columbus is taught and washington is honored

But you 'll get to bow your head to the state that should be dishonored

You are so right UCant. A nation can be judged by the way it treats its kids and it old people. Kids are raised today, If you don't like the rule, change it!!! And if the rule won't change, get a crook, ooops, I meant lawyer.

If everyone will just vote against every incumbent one time, things could be changed. UCant is right. I hate that so many of "MY" tax dollars go to Bull sh--. Schools have lost sight of their purpose. "AND I REALLY HATE FOREIGN AID"!!!!!

I believe myself to be pretty open minded. But I have never believed in hugging your enemy. The Muslims are the very first, and I am 60 yrs old, that I have found myself having to totally hate and reject from my life.

I remember then when the whole class every morning turned to the direction of the American flag of the United States. The right hand placed over your heart. Then everyone in the room would recite the pledge of allegiance.

Now the government that runs this country rules that schools can't perform this act no more. That sounds like to me that this country has turned. The United States(In God We Trust). This is printed on every fabric,form,know to everyone that lives in this country that is of legal tender note.

The now is here and now. What is to say the course that this country choose to take, and our children are faithed to bare witness to, be part of. That they really don't have any choice by their opinions to say otherwise.

Unless there are those out there willing to stand up and be heard now. Not tomorrow, or later down the road just only to keep putting it off. (BUT NOW FOR OUR CHILDRENS SAKE).

Thats right texan. Like I keep saying, vote against every incumbent for 5 years and they will wake up. No demonstrating, no gun shots, no bull. We voted you out snd the one taking your place better not ever forget it. And they better know that the one thing they better not ever forget, is that they are an "AMERICAN"!
