Payground rquipment hot..... well duh

I watched the news tonight and saw the warning about hot playground equipment and the not terribly bright woman who "hadn't thought about that"I cannot believe that anyone would have their child out in the 107 heat on a playground without shade anyway. How much common sense does it take to feel of a slide or swing before you let your child play on it.? In this heat keep you child cool , let them play in a wading pool or sprinkler ,take them to the mall if you must but JEEEZ Luise show some sense,

Might as well give your kid a loaded gun & let them play Russian Roulette !

The gun is probably not as dangerous !

107 degree heat equals HOT playground equipment! Common sense...

I'm not above running and playing in the sprinkler myself...

Truth be told, I did it just the other day and had a blast!

My dogs play in the sprinkler and love it.My old guy.15 , just lays there. SImple pleasures are the best.

On WFAA they showed a child with horrific burns on his little feet and hands from hot equipment . WHo on earth would let that happen to a child?

It is getting really sad when someone has to come on tv and tell these parents that it is too hot to let their kids play outside on the playground equipment. Keep them inside and read a book to them.

dumb dumb dumb, isn't terrible this child bot burned, but if a parent slaps their hands teaching them what no means, or that something is hot, that is abuse, as far as I'm concerned, I would rather a child feel a slight pain in learning, than have serious pain from something the child could have been taught to avoid, , well, all you no spank idiots, and abuse labelers are to blame for this kind of thing, get a grip !!

the real abuse is not teaching children what to avoid by any means necessary, kids do not ever sense or see dangers it is taught by a parent that can see and sense it for them , that is one of those common sense things everyone talks about but has no idea what happened to it, our stupid sosciety, tha is still trying to raise kids by he old failed De Spock idea, that He disavowed becuz it didn't work, He even wcwntually had grandson, that committed suicide after being raised under these failed ideas, if you can't understand it's beuz you believe in policies, that DON'T work, and never did , the new system deciding on what is child abuse is way out of whack, if you believe in it, it's becu You don't have the common sense yourselves !!
