Do you have a Plan?

Should The United States have a PLAN B if the voters choose to elect four more years of the same old garbage? The following points should be considered in making this decision.

1. We say we want small government and yet we continue to increase its size by adding departments and increasing the bureaucracy.

2. We criticize China and a number of other countries for their lack of humane treatment of people. Yet, we allow 415 children be confiscated from their mothers in Texas by force.

3. We tax the middle class into bankruptcy and borrow, borrow, borrow from foreign sources to pay for our own provocations and nation building. At the same time, the wealthy continue to get tax breaks, the oil mongers build up unimaginable wealth.

4. The political parties cheat to elect whoever the special interests want and are willing to pay for to gain unfair advantages over the citizenry.

It appears our constitution no longer has meaning in the United States. There needs to be a new constitutional convention to dispell any advantages the rich have over the poor. At what price this will be accomplished is open to debate. This blog is your opportunity to express your ideas as to what you think a new Union would look like and how the distributiion of powers would be established. Post your ideas!

Appreciate the sentiment, but get real dude!
Plan B, when pigs can fly.
So long as citizens press the notion that their government exists to take care of them, it will grow. More specifically, so long a the elite do-gooders believe that our government exists to care for the poor huddled masses yearning for a handout, it will get bigger and more invasive.
Do you really believe that taking the FLDS children into protective custody is a violation of their human rights? Their parents have placed their children into a social/psychological prison that has retarded their development to the point that they become slaves...unable to resist. Sexual abuse is the result of the control the men/parents have established over their slaves. What is happening in China relates to this in that the Chinese government has denied self determination, just like the FLDS.
Regarding taxation: I take it you believe in lower taxes to the middle class. OK, so the price of freedom is greater depending on your income? Shouldn't that cost be shared equally?
Or do you want some one else to pay your share?
Maybe the alternative is to work within Plan A to stop the infiltration of socialist/communist ideology that only a government can take care of your needs. Be eliminating the give-away/take-care-of-me mentality, the costs will go down and then your fair share will be reasonable.

1. We already know they will elect the same old garbage.

2. As long as people think the "will of the people" should supersede the Constitution, we will continue to get this kind of garbage.

Nice try, but your site is nothing more than a glorified Clinton ad. The very things you point out that Obama is guilty of (negative campaign ads), so is she. Did you not see the last debate? He tried to get past all the rumors and distractions and talk about policy, she kept going back to it. Even when he had a chance to attack her back, he passed it up in favor of moving on and she went back to it again.

Sorry, but your candidate is evil to the core, and unfit to lead our nation. Unfortunately we are probably going to end up with her as a nominee or as a vp on a joint ticket.

American need hope for a better tomorrow, we need drastic changes in this country. What are we coming to when rice, a common stable for so many Americans is been rationed? Our indigents and needy are without health care and our children are failing in schools. Mud slinging and name calling will not solve the problem, hopefully a good elected official will, so lets move towards those changes and vote the only hopeful candidate with a plan for change we can believe in, into office.

it is too late for that, there was only one running this cycle and he doesn't have a chance of beating McCain. None of the three likely candidates are worth the effort it would take to touch the screen on election day!

Putting China and the Polygamist at the same level is ridiculous.

The rest, about spending our way to oblivion and elected officials being chosen by the parties and special interests is true, but sadly not a new story.

If you check all 3 candidates and what they are saying, we will go from 9 trillion in debt to 15 trillion or so and it will be with the people demanding it. The people want bigger govt and more spending.

It is insane and will lead to the eventual destruction of the nation, but the politicians will give them what they want - more programs and more spending.

Keep in mind that most people in this country pay no federal income tax at all, and that the "rich" pay over 90+ % themselves; I mean give me a break.

Every time someone talks about giving the poor a tax break too, like Clinton and Obama are both doing, hell what tax?

They don't pay tax - at least on the federal level. In fact the poor and even lower middle class get money given to them in the form of the child tax credits and such.

They get money given to them that was taken from the "rich" who are paying big bucks.
