Here is a Newsmax article that just came out today on Sarah Palin's backers, and what they think about her:

Pro-Lifers Applaud Palin Pick

The influential pro-life Susan B. Anthony List is applauding John McCain’s selection of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate.

“Sarah Palin is the whole package. There couldn’t be a better vice presidential pick,” said Susan B. Anthony List President Marjorie Dannenfelser.

“Women voters are electrified, and Sarah is someone who is truly in sync with the way real American women think. She is a reform-minded woman who will give all Americans, born and unborn, the authentic leadership they deserve.”

“The majority of American women support commonsense restrictions on abortion. Adding Palin to the GOP ticket will resonate with independent women voters nationwide. By choosing the boldly pro-life Sarah Palin as his running mate, John McCain has taken his stand as the one true, authentic pro-life ticket.”

The Susan B. Anthony List is a nationwide network of over 147,000 Americans residing in all 50 states, dedicated to mobilizing, advancing, and representing pro-life women in politics.

In April of this year, Sarah Palin gave birth to her fifth child, Trig, who was born premature with Down Syndrome. Recent statistics cited by the Susan B. Anthony list show that in the U.S., approximately 90 percent of Down Syndrome diagnoses end with the mother choosing abortion.

Palin told the Anchorage Daily News about her family’s reaction to the diagnosis:

“We knew through early testing he would face special challenges, and we feel privileged that God would entrust us with this gift and allow us unspeakable joy as he entered our lives. We have faith that every baby is created for good purpose and has potential to make this world a better place. We are truly blessed.”

In 2006, Sarah Palin was endorsed by the Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund in her race for Alaska governor.

In addition to extensive fundraising for pro-life candidates, the Susan B. Anthony List announced that it will implement “When Women Vote, Pro-Life Candidates Win!”— a sophisticated voter mobilization program that will target over one million pro-life women voters across seven battleground states.

The organization plans to invest over $6 million in its 2008 election efforts.

I feel she will be a big bump to McCain as she is better than Biden by a long short.

Although I believe in a woman’s right to choose, and that homosexuals should be allowed to have a recognized union, McCain and Palin impress me with their sincerity and values. They're true leaders who will lead this country in the right direction, and we can finally have someone to look up to. I admire them both.

I noticed the expressions on both Barry Obama and Joe Biden's faces when they were talking about Sarah Palin being the Vice Presidential nominee. Boy Oh Boy, THEY WERE VERY UPSET deep down inside! All I can say about those 2 guys is OH MY! Let me say this to any of you future readers who are left wing Democrats: this is the historical presidential race of 3 men and a fine leader lady!

I'm a life long North Orange County California resident. I work behind the scenes in radio, and I understand the pressures that the folks at Fox 11 and My 13 news go through to do a live show professionally. I don't like it when politicians try to make our government bigger than it is now. I oppose many of the things the Democrats are doing, because in my thoughts, they are selling out the public to nothing but garbage. In other areas, I'm an Anaheim Angels fan. McCain/Palin 2008! Obama's in for a "caining"!
