NFL Star Taylor Dies After Gunshot

Sean Taylor, the Washington Redskins safety who was shot early Monday at his home in Miami, has died, according to a family friend. He was just 24.

The Pro Bowl safety had taken a bullet in his upper leg, reports the AP, damaging an artery, causing serious blood loss and loss of consciousness. According to his former lawyer, Richard Sharpstein, Taylor seemed to show signs of recovery when he squeezed a nurse's hand late Monday night, but never regained consciousness thereafter.

Miami-Dade Police are investigating the attack, which occurred when an intruder apparently entered Taylor's home, in what the cops are considering a possibly burglary.

Almost every week a player is shot, arrested, etc. If this sport had some skill requirements, players would be somewhere working on enhancing their skills avoiding all those other negative events.

I just about have to agree with you caricards.
Most of them do not know what a normal life is about. I see he was living with his daughter and girlfriend. Not his wife. His babys momma.

MOANKIE82: You should not trouble your self with the fact of his living with his baby's momma. What you should be doing is sending up prayers for his daughter and his baby's momma. What bills of his and his baby's momma did you ever pay? You should clean your house and dont worry your head about what black man baby's momma he's living with and not his wife. People like you gives races a foul taste.

I can understand that. While i do pray for his family, I really have no respect for pro athletes or celebs anymore. And hey, I heard my babys momma from black, white, and hispanic. It is a general breakdown amoung all races.

Have kept 6 (one of the first users of LiveJournal) other blogs for sometime, unless you count BBS's and then it goes waaaayyy back.
