Hello fellow blogger, How is everyone? I hope safe and well. Well, I have to compose this blog because well, it seems that more and more drivers are coming down with a horrible condition which I prefer to name it as, "STUCKONSTUPID"itis. While my husband and I were in San Antonio for our honeymoon, we were on our way to his niece's house. While we were en route, a black mustang in front of us is swerving all over the highway! At first we were thinking that he was on his cell phone hobnobbing around and not paying any never mind. Then I chimed up and said, "He's drunk!" My husband disagreed with me, and said that he was just being stupid, so in reply to his comment, I said, "Yes, you're right. He is stupid because he's driving drunk!" As we proceeded to stay behind the inebriated driver, my husband quickly changed his answer and agreed with me. I was worried and told him we should call  the police. I wrote down and well as I could for being in a moving vehicle, the license plate. In front of  this monster was a white car with an old lady in it. My stomach sank! Drunk drivers are "attracted" to red lights... hence the scenes in the COPS show with all the drunk drivers running them. He said to not worry about it and that just made me mad. I was quiet the whole time we were on our way to his niece's. I should have called anyway. I hope that punk didn't hurt anyone or himself. I hope he got pulled over and sent to jail where he belongs. I haven't heard anything on the news about anything of this nature, however, if something like this does happen, and someone gets hurt, that will be a sad day for everyone. Please don't come down with this condition. Even road rage-rs are suffering from this. Is there anything we or the law enforcement can do about this?

When you suspect a driver is drunk, call the law. I have, more than once.

DWI is a violent crime and for the safety of all needs to be reported.

Congrats on the wedding. The pics look great!

I have maintained a commercial drivers license for over 20 years. I can not count the times I have reported drunk driving.
If you are going to drink, STAY HOME!
If you go out and drink, call a cab or have a designated driver!
Its not worht the risk, penalty, sorrows, or money that it will cost.

runaround, I should have called the smokies out. I really should have.

fvsmith, my husband is a truck driver and he can vouch with you, as I can as well. What company do you drive for? He drives for COVENANT TRANSPORT.

Nived23 - CONGRATS!!! Love the pics! :) I agree - call the cops, give them the vehicle make, model, license and what mile marker [or street] you have just passed and which direction you are going in. The satisfaction upon: watching them GET pulled over or driving by and seeing them pulled over, trying to touch their nose is AWESOME! : ) That's usually when I say to myself 'sorry bubba - sucks to be you' : )

Thnx, and you are right! I'm sure this one will bother me too. If ever, and I hope there is not, next time this happens again, the po-po's will be called. No one will stop me.

I'm an intoxilyzer operator, and I don't get paid for each subject that I test. It is more work, but not more pay.
I prefer for people to report drunk drivers, even though this keeps me a little too busy at times.
I have seen way more drunk drivers that killed people than any of you will ever see on the news. The media can only cover so much! I also see all of the nasty details that you will never see on the news.
BTW. you were a beautiful bride. Good luck and congratulations.

I can only imagine. Thanx for looking at my pics. Take care oldi... By the way, who's the little angel on your picture when your name pops up? She's beautiful!

My family is a victim of a drunk driver. Yes the police can do something if they choose too. The day Loren was killed there were 9 count them 9 calls made to 911 trying to get that fool off the road.

Twice in the last year I have come across two drunk drivers. One on Buckner Blvd and the other on east bound hwy 80. You bet I called in on them. My question to them was how many people have to die for you to help before something happens.

I am sorry that this situation occured on your honeymoon. I do wish you had called 911, however I can understand why you didn't. I just pray that fool didn't hurt or kill anyone. Thank goodness you and your husband are ok.
Have A Great Week

Scotty I can't believe you said anything against drunk drivers since you are against anything they come up with to try to prevent drunk driving deaths and injuries.

I could careless about the drunk driver themselves. HOWEVER I care very much about thier victims.

Hello All and welcome to my blog of "ABOUT ME". I am 24, 2 months shy of 25, am now married to a very respectable, hard working truck driver. I unfortunantly no longer work at THE MEN'S WEARHOUSE. I am working with my husband in a town called Hutchins, here in TX. If ya'll aren't familiar with that, its about 5 minutes out side the border of Ellis county, but is still in Dallas. About a good 30 minutes from Waxahachie. I am a "Terminal Clerk" at the truck termimal he drives for. It's more of a "glorified secretary's position". I left for more money and weekends off. I needed that time and money for the wedding. Take care all and KEEP ON TRUCKIN'! I AM NOW MRS. MARTINEZ!!! IT FEELS... different... BUT GREAT!!! YEAH!!!
