Time to blow off a little steam again with my top 10 list of things I'm tired of:

1.   High gas prices.

2.   High electric bills.

3.   Rich getting richer.

4.   Poor getting poorer.

5.   Fighting a war in Iraq, while we slowly give our country over to illegal immigrants.

6.   Having to pay high taxes, Insurance bills, medical bills while illegals get it free.

7.   Tired of being punished for being a law abiding citisen.

8.   Tired of car and truck commercials on TV.

9.   Tired of commercials being twice as loud as the program your watching.

10. Tired of Ameriacn Idol.

I feel much better now, stay tuned. Does anybody else out there need to vent?

I get tired of commercials advertising drugs and weight-loss products. The people who do the weight-loss commercials are not doctors. They are actors. No doctor will endorse a product like that. They will reccomend a dietician or exercise program, never a controversial product.I have never watched American Idol, and Yes !! I hate those caveman commercials. I wonder why the truck commercials always have cowboys and country music ? I think country music is disgusting. I can listen to some of the old country, but not the tears-in-the-beer junk we have now. Every once in a while I take my wife to a George Strait concert. He is very good, and his music is much better. Still I don't like it.

Wakeup, what are you doing about numbers 3 & 4?

Are you looking to the government or are you taking personal responsibility????

I agree with all but #4 (Poor getting poorer.) That's their own fault. Tell them to stay in school, don't do drugs, don't start making babies at 14, get a degree and then they won't be poor. They'll be part of the rich that gets richer.

And define rich. . .how dare YOU decide that people who are successful and increasing their financial status are wrong. If you don't like Capitalism go find yourself a "fair" Socialist country. God's finances are 10/10/80. Tithe 10%, save 10% live on 80%. Regardless of how successful you are, doing it God's way puts the responsibility for helping the poor to the private sector. Not asking the government to regulate personal finances. Doing so reminds me of children screaming, "NO FAIRRRRRRRRR!!!!" "MOOOOOOOM, HE ME MAKES MORE MONEY THAN ME!!"

Many of the rich got that way beacause they are very money-smart. They know how to save, invest, and they do not waste their money. Did you know that the largest percentage of lottery tickets are bought by the poor ! And the smallest number of winners are the very same people. I have listened to a man named Dave Ramsey. Very good program. He once said that a person had a better chance of throwing a one hundred dollar bill out of a car window traveling at sixty miles per hour, and ten more bills blowing back in, than a person has of winning the lottery. That is exactly right. Instead of wasting money on a worthless thing like that, give the money to charity, or a program to feed kids in other countries. People need to stop thinking about themselves.

Does Dave Ramsey do that financial course? One of the ladies in my bsf group is doing something like financial university. Is that him? Red, do you do BSF (bible study fellowship)? Check it out, it's incredible. www.bsfinternational.com. I'm in the Denton Women's day group as a discussion leader. We are wrapping up Romans (all year) and next year is the book of Matthew.

And isn't it incredible how finances take care of themselves when you tithe that first 10%?? I could tell stories that would give you goosebumps about people who were in a mess until they started tithing!!!!

I personally know some multi-millionares. They earned their money by hard work. They chose not to live like a pauper. A person can rise above their means, and make a better life for themselves if they are willing to make a sacrifice, and change. It is most important to let God manage your money. It goes so much further then. It is His money anyway !

its outspoken's OPINION, HELLO!!! so here are a few of my own...
i love the caveman commercials
american idol is only good at the beginning of the season when all the people who think they can sing are on
the soup on e! is probably the funniest 30 minutes on tv
phrank, i think you're right. my dad was poor, but worked his way up in a company from a janitor when he was 19, to foreman when he was 54. and he made us stay in school and go to college (except one of my sisters who went into the military), now i'm a teacher. not rich by any means :) but LOVE what i do
i love the zoom zoom commercials too
people who don't know how to enter/exit the freeway drive me crazy! accelerate to get on, decclerate to get off... its not hard
and since this can of worms is already open, we, the voters, are the ones who can change illegal immagration laws. if you don't like it, start your own rally like they did. complaining about it doesn't get anything done.
oh, and marble slab is possibly the best ice cream on the planet!

oh, and grace, my husband and i thithe to our church religiously, no pun intended. SOMEHOW, we manage to have two cars, a mortgage, insurance, taxes, two kids, three fish, a daughter in competitive dance... on a teacher and police officer's pay. God can indeed work miracles.

I am not sure if Dave Ramsey does that particular course. Check out his website. Daveramsey.com I think that is right. His company started out doing very well. He started doing things his way, and then he went bankrupt. He started the company again, and let God take control. Now it is a multi-million dollar Christian company with probably over sixty or seventy employees.
