Ron,

You have a microphone problem. Twice now I have heard static on your mic. Sounds like a bad cable from the mic to your transnitter. You might want to have it checked out.

OR, it could simply need a battery. Assuming he is using a wireless mike and not a hard wire, when the battery in the transmitter needs to be replaced (which is frequently) they have a staticie crackling sound.
