My dog has been showing signs of Seasonal Affected Disorder. I haven't been able to walk her much due to all the rain and her predominate Dashound genes that put her so close to the ground.

I recently purchased a small life jacket for her and I am now able to walk her again near the creek behind my house. She is showing signs improvement now. I only have one problem, she has started a very bad habit. She is chasing catfish now. Does anyone know if this is normal?

I'm sure things will return to normal as soon as the monsoon rains stop. Meanwhile does anyone have any suggestions?

don't worry if it's normal , take advantage of it , let her catch a couple of those catfish and have a fish fry , and make sure you let her have some too. :) enjoy

LOL Poor puppy! My doggies are sooooo tired of me coming after them with towels when they come back in the house.Even the high spirited Jack Russell(Dufus)just stops and stands very still now and gives me this look like"alright, lets get it over with".
YES....I am very tired of this constant rain and gloomy stuff.

LOL! That is so cute! I dont think you have to worry about your dog trying to catch catfish! He is just trying to have a little fun! My rat terrier, Tinkerbell, has had a bath almost everyday this week. Every time I let her out, she comes back in looking like she got a mud bath!! Let them play and enjoy this cooler weather. They wont be so active when the rain stops and we are having triple digits temps.

Well my 3 dogs are so tired of the rain.My poodle and maltese both hate to get their paws wet.. So when we go outside and they step on the grass and their paws get wet they immediately gat back on the sidewalk and want to go back inside,,, whereas my wife is waiting at the door with a towel to dry them off.. Hopefully this rain wont last much longer ..if it does Im thinking about building a ark and marching the animals in 2X2

txhank and cowboyswife58 pretty much described our situation.
However My predicament has been house training our new Corgi Puppy!
Talk about low to the ground Tucker haters the baths we have to give him every day.
Goliath our lovable mutt takes it all in stride.
I am with hillsborohillbilly on the Catfish.

When those animals start pairing up 2x2 we better watch out. :)
