Does any one want to make a prediction on how high fuel prices will go?

I would like President Bush to explain to the American public, just why he can't stop this madness. He doesn't even care to give us one of those feel good speeches at this point.

At what point does the (Lame Duck) Bush / Chaney regime decide that they have enough oil money to set them up for life. These are happy times for people with oil or gas well royalties from the mineral rights that have passed down for generations. Believe me when I tell you that the Bush / Chaney famlies and friends have plenty to gain from the price of oil.

I personally don't see it stopping at 10.00 a gallon. Why should they stop now, the Oil Companies know the Bush family is on there side. Good old American greed is alive and well.

This administration has done more harm to our economy in the shortest amount of time that I can remember.

The sad thing about our future is this fact. Bush will actually look like a saint compared to what Obama will do to our nation. 

God Bless America, we need it bad.......

$8.25 a gallon by the end of summer.

The more our dollar drops and DC tries to use it the higher it will go.

Oh good Looooooooord don't let it go that high. It's already to the point that i combine trips whenever i can..anything to save gas. My husband filled up the other day and it was 83.10

Don't worry folks. Our fine government officials will just print up some more of those $1,200.00 checks, and we will all be just fine.... NOT!!!!!

With all due respect IT SI NOT THE PRESIDENT ( whoever it might be) that can conrtol the price.

WITH ONE MAJOR EXCEPTION.

If the President ordered an attack ( with Congressional approval) on a major foreign oil exporter and then we became imperalists ( which we are not despite communist claims otherwise)then the price would head towards capitalism.

This is what happens WHEN THE GOVERNMENT DOES GET INVOLVED.

IT MAKES PRICES ARTIFICAL.

I'm sure that the President and Vice Pres. would totally agree with you and smile while they are doing it. These guys aren't stupid, they are professional politicians.

All they have to say is "we have no control over it" and smile. What a great position to be in.

Americans have given up control of their land.

When you can make it into the country ILLEGALLY, thats bad enough, BUT HAVE LAWMAKERS (BREAKERS)STATE OUTLOUD, WE ARE NOT GOING AFTER YOU....

WHEN YOU CAN GET EDUCATED/FED/HOSPITAL FREE OF CHARGE FOR YOU PAID FOR BY TAXPAYERS....

Yes, let us get all worked up about the price of fuel. We will continue to do this untill we realize we are hungry, and can't afford food any more. Makes you angry to have to spend $100.oos of dollars to fill your tank, waite till you have to spend $100.oos of dallars to fill your belly. I have seen this coming for some time now, and it freightens me, it should freighten you to.

We as a country are in bad shape. Food costs will skyrocket and I expect shortages. My wife and I are spending $75 a week to store food, having started last week.

Gas prices will probably reach $10 a gallon and we'll have Mad Max events more regularly.

Dallas burglaries are already up 28% for the year.

That sucks! If gas gets that high, we would be as well off staying home. Screw work, it costs too much to work anymore.

Makes me wonder if this is just a way to rid of all the illegals in the country. Who will suffer more from the rising fuel prices?

Most illegals work for minimum wage and they love driving trucks. LOL!! How long will it be before they say, "BLEEP, it's cheaper to stay in Mexico." LMAO!!

If that's the plan, I hope it works.

Well you can all stop worrying about such trival matters as the price of gas, and food. Montana State University at Bozeman has developed a NEW fungus that kills cannabis, this includes HEMP. The article said they are going to, or ARE running field test. You can't SAFELY field test a microscopic fungus. Once the genie is let out of the bottle, there's no going back. Do you think that the death of the entire Industrial HEMP crop will piss off all the other countries on earth? Have you seen "I Am Legend"? I have.

Guys I am really getting concerned about the rising prices. I just bought a car a last year that is not really a gas mizer and I am thinking of trading it in already...all the more sinking me into debt. I hate it !

Well I have talk to some insiders about the gas prices. Most seem to think it will level off at about $3.80 a gallon by mid-summer. I can tell you all, that in the next week it will go up about 5 cents. That will make it about 3.50 per gallon.
The big problem is and if the truckers shut down. Then you can look for products to skyrocket. Just 2 years ago we were buying gas at the pumps at 1.55 per gallon. The president has no control over gas prices. He can’t tell China to stop buying gas or other products like steal and driving up prices. He cannot control the futures market on gas.
But, he can open up oil fields and let oil companies look for new gas off our coast, build more refineries and use more American oil and stop buying it elsewhere. But if you do that you start the libs bit@@@ and you know what happens then.
