Has anyone been invited to Crawford for the the wedding? I hope the economic slow down doesn't cause any problems. I did hear that they would most likely be forced to purchase Pepperidge Farm frozen cakes for the reception.

I am glad that they did opt. out for a small wedding and not spend a huge amount durring these slower times. Some people might think it would be in poor taste to have a big wedding with the Country in the shape it is in.

Best wishes to the young couple, I can donate some Bush Beans if they need me to.     ;)

My invite must be lost in the mail.

Seriously couples still plan weddings and huge ones at that in economic slow downs.

Jenna was very right in saying it would not be right to hold the wedding on tax payer property.

I wish her and her guy all the best.

Maybe we'll get invited to the barbeque? :)

I received my invite last week, but by the time the censor's got through with it : I didn't know what it was !

Wonder why they sent it from the IRS with AUDIT on the heading ?

apparently the spectacle that I put on at the inaugural ball got me removed from the guest list of future festivities......

Honestly....I never knew hitting on the presidents daughter would cause such an uproar....she wasn't even the "cute" one either....

geez.............

Makes me wonder if the President hasn't already received his tax rebate check

I was invited but can't afford the gas to drive all the way to Crawford. Wonder if they will fire up Air Force One to take all the wedding party to Texas. Our tax dollars pay the President's salary so I guess this wedding really is on us!

I'm aware that many people still have their weddings even during economic trials but 14 bridesmaids is a little much.

Oh, well all those oil wells must come in handy when you put on a huge wedding.
