It has been my observation that you can sell anything if you spend enough money to promote it. Why do you think Car Dealers have so many commercials on TV with all the sales gimmicks. Trust me, they have to make money one way or another. They spend a lot of money telling you what you can save.

Most people are smart enough not to fall for all the gimmicks. I estimate that 40% of the population has enough sense to come in out of the rain and 60% doesn't. That 60% is the target group for most promotions. I personally would rather the Car Dealer stop spending so much money on advertising and really lower the price on cars. The truth be known, talk is cheap and it is a lot easier to snow that 60% of the population with empty promises on a TV commercial.

My point, in the months ahead we can expect Obama to be spending all that campaign money to promote himself on every aspect of the media.  Again talk is cheap and he will be on every network making those empty promises. He will just about say or do anything to win and he has the money to do it.  The 60% will me brain washed as usual and I really expect Obama to be our next president. One thing that does bother me more than him being elected and that is knowing that 60% of the population will believe him.

Before closing, I will say something good about him. He is one of the best speakers that I have ever listened too. He knows what people want to hear and he is very slick about it. That being said, just remember this. Actions speak louder than words and if people are good Christians, they don't have to tell you how good they are, you just know.

In all fairness, he's a GREAT speaker when he's reading a David Axelrod speech from the teleprompter. Watch how he stumbles and rambles if he's speaking without his speech given to him.

I haven't noticed, I need to be more observant.

I feel sorry for Obama, he really thinks he is capable of being president.

I agree, outspoken. It is scary to think that people are not examining the issues.

Now Judicial Watch has filed a complaint about Obama's discounted (preferential) home loan.

IT is obvious that this guy is dirty and a little bit slow but it doesn't matter what damning evidence comes out, his supporters are blind.

All politicians are dirty when one gets to digging around. I am betting there is more about Obama that the Republicans are holding back until the time is right.

Where can I file a complaint about the tax reduction that conveniently expires in 2009?

The Y2K debt was half of what was announced recently as the current debt ($410, I think it was.)

Yep, in my book, they all lie. Voting in America is like choosing the lesser of two evils.

He's not stupid, but he's not very experienced either. I think he's been under the influence of his own press corps leading him to think he can say anything and get away with it. I see some writers in curious positions like the New York Times and the Washington Post making some very pointed observations about his behavior. It will be interesting to watch. Plus there are always the midterms.

Outspoken, You are so right. People are very gullible. Most people don't know how to examine the motives behind the acts, speeeches, commercials, etc.
