One more time, WHAT IS WITH THIS WEATHER? I have been around this area for many years and I have never seen the wind blow for as long and hard as it has this year. When do we get a break from it?
We the viewers deserve some answers and explainations for this unusual phenomenon. Is it El Ninio, La Ninya, Global Warming, illegal aliens or presidential canidates causing all this hot air blowing?
WHAT IS WITH THIS WEATHER?

Weather
Why is this weather so freaky? When did we start getting March 54MPH wind gust in June? We need to recaibrate the weather machine.
2008 has provided us with extream weather for the most part. I'm ready for it to settle down a little. So far it started out too cold, then too wet, then too hot and now too windy.

I would just like to thank the Lord above for such a weather perfect Saturday. I rode the Harley up to Oklahoma and the weather was great. We don't get a lot of these kind of days. it is usually one extream to another.
THUNDER STORMS LIKELY

Keep an eye to the sky this week. Severe Thunder Storms could develope rather quickly. Looks like the atmospheric conditions are ripe for them.
We don't want to be caught off guard, so stay tuned to Fox 4 weather and keep the weather alert radio on stand-by.
The states up north have really been pounded this Spring and you never know what to expect in Texas.

NASCAR WEATHER

Weather
I don't know a thing about NASCAR, but will someone explain to me why Texas Motor Speed Way schedules races in the month of April. Do they not have a choice?
This is the only month in Texas that you can depend on for more severe weather than any other month in the Spring. April is notorous for severe storms, lightning, high winds, hail and tornados.
It is just a matter of time before a major storm comes through TMS and destroys billions in motor homes. All these rich fans that can afford to take off from work for a week and drive their expensive motor homes to the race are going to make my insurance rates go sky high when this happens. The insurance claims will be unreal.
The people will take refuge in safe places under the race way and be okay and they won't worry about the motor homes that are getting pounded by the storm. They might even be happy with an insurance claim so they won't have to put 4.00 a gallon fuel in those gas guslers any more. Can you tell I'm not a race fan?
I'm sorry NASCAR fans, just set back in your lawn chair and have another beer, and enjoy your time off. I guess I'm just jealous because I can't afford to blow that kind of money. I got to get back to work now.
The following events repeat themselves year after year in Wise County
1. People hear the forecast of snow and never believe it untill it starts.
2. When it does start during daylight working hours panic sets in. Got to take take off early from work, I could be stranded at work, OMG! Then the media wants to ad to the panic. The News media loves it, makes good News.
3. Then the the traffic doubles and cars are every where, cars sliding off the road. Cars and trucks in the ditches. It looks like Chicken Little the sky is falling syndrom.
4. Then the gas stations and grocery stores fill up with cars and people. OMG! I may run out of gas and my family and I could starve to death because of this weather.
5. Then what happens next is the most dangerous event of all and it gets real scary. THEY TURN SCHOOL OUT! This is when you dare not go out. The reason they do this is so the School Busses can get the little kids home safe and that is okay. It is the next phase that is the dangerous part.
6. The next phase is this, any School kid with a drivers license gets turned out too. This is the problem, you know and I know what we did under the same circumstances when we were young. One big difference, they were a lot fewer of us and a whole lot fewer cars. Traffic in this county turns into a nightmare and with rock trucks and tank trucks added to the mix.
7. Then the Police scanner comes to life in the middle of all this pademonnium. All the sudden all emergency services are flooded with calls. Vehicle accidents, Medical calls, Fires, Wrecker calls, you name it. We even had family disturbances going on during all this. I guess they were fighting about food or gas.
This senerio repeats itself each year and will continue to do so under the same conditions. It's just the order of things. Now that i think about it, it is interesting to be at home listening on the scanner and tv. Only problem is last year one of them ended up in my front yard and did $1,500 dollars in damage to my fence that the young man never paid for. Oh well stuff happens.

WHAT IS IN THE AIR?

Weather
I have never had allergy problems in the past, but I have had cold like symptoms of coughing, sneezing, running nose, itchy waterery eyes, mild headache and mild fever since December the 4th.
I have reports from family members and friends that are going through the same thing and the majority of these folks usually don't have allergies either
. My wife has had it since mid November and she has been to the Doctor 3 times and is still fighting it. Seems we will get a little better and then it hits us again.
Here lately It has become a question of who doesn't have it, rather than who does. Every where I go people are coughing and sneezing. Does anyone know what is in the air that is causing this?

Where are the weather bloggers?

I wanna know why more people don't post weather blogs. The weather team deserves some attention too.
Maybe it might help if Evan would bring Jessica Simpson to work.....LOL
Evan,
Do something about this up and down weather. I have a bad cold and this weather is really messing with my nose and throat. Even my dog is sneezing and feeling bad.
Call up North and tell them to either open or close the gate so we can get some relief.
Arizona Coast forcast?

I was watching the weather this morning and Evan gave the forecast for the Arizona coast. I was distracted while LOL and missed it. I was wondering if anyone else heard that forecast.
George Straight and I have some ocean front property down there and were hoping to go there for the weekend.
Sorry about that Evan, I couldn't resist. :)
My dog has been showing signs of Seasonal Affected Disorder. I haven't been able to walk her much due to all the rain and her predominate Dashound genes that put her so close to the ground.
I recently purchased a small life jacket for her and I am now able to walk her again near the creek behind my house. She is showing signs improvement now. I only have one problem, she has started a very bad habit. She is chasing catfish now. Does anyone know if this is normal?
I'm sure things will return to normal as soon as the monsoon rains stop. Meanwhile does anyone have any suggestions?

I want to be a weather man. All you have do is wake up go to work and tell us all that it is going to rain today. Looks like an easy job to me, at least this year.

Ron,
You have a microphone problem. Twice now I have heard static on your mic. Sounds like a bad cable from the mic to your transnitter. You might want to have it checked out.

Happy belated birthday Ron. I was going to tell you on your actual birthday, but it was coming up just a little bit later. (LOL)
My wife and I laugh when you start at the begining of the news cast teasing us with the weather coming up just a little bit later. (LOL)
By the way viewers you can get the news and weather on this wonderful website without the tease. Just a little (FYI) wink, wink.
