Someone mentioned we should get rid of the united nations. Great idea, after all what good is their advice, no one listens. Not even the United States.

1. It cost the U.S. tax payers millions if not billions per year.

2. If the delegates are not paid on commission, they are way over compensated.

 3. They owe an untold amount in traffic fines. ( Hearsay, have no proof)

4. They have diplomatic immunity. (can get away with murder) Ditto

5. They have cost a lot of solders their lives, sometimes for the wrong reasons.

6. The building could be sold to an AMERICAN COMPANY and turned into high rise apartments. It is in a good location and has near by parking.

7. The taxes and jobs created would be an asset. 8. It would rid the American taxpayer of a large money pit.

YEAH ! IN A PERFECT WORLD.

Since the government and the incoming government is trying to have the word illegal removed from the dictionary. Maybe ,just maybe, they could use some of the tax revenue (from the above) for reinvestment in programs that legal and natural born citizens have paid into for 35 to 70 years. When I first started paying into social security it was possible to payoff my debt to S.S by May or June. As times got better I had to pay through, July, August, then September. Then an amendment was passed that allowed the crooks (those who passed the amendment) access to our money. The next year I could not pay the complete debt off because they(who passed the amendment) started stealing from our S.S program. Does anyone know how much you would have to earn per year to pay off your S.S payment today or is it impossible. I also understand they want to tax our Social Security. What next blood?

The mixture known as gasoline, when used in high compression internal combustion engines, has a tendency to autoignite(detonation) causing a damaging "engine knocking" (also called "pinging") noise. Early research into this effect led to the discovery that lead additives modified this behavior and led to the widespread adoption of the practice in the 1920s and therefore more powerful higher compression engines. The most popular additive was tetra-ethyl lead. However, with the discovery of the environmental and health damage caused by the lead, and the incompatibility of lead with catalytic converters found on virtually all newly sold US automobiles since 1975, this practice began to wane (encouraged by many governments introducing differential tax rates) in the 1980s. Most countries are phasing out leaded fuel; different additives have replaced the lead compounds. The most popular additives include aromatic hydrocarbons, ethers and alcohol (usually ethanol or methanol). Was it one of these that poisoned our water supply ?

Were these really necessary or was it a reason to charge more. After 1974 the automobile engines that I worked with came out with lower compression ratios, lower timing settings and other changes that corrected this problem. I had to lower the timing on my !969 350cu.- 350 horsepower engine from 12* tdc to 6*tdc to correct this problem, this greatly reduced its ability to pull a travel trailer. Was it really necessary to add AROMATIC HYDROCARBONS to gasoline I thought HYDROCARBONS were one emission that were trying to lower.

And what I would really like know is why they charged more for unleaded gas than leaded, why would it cost more to leave something out.

Also can anyone tell me why the natural gas and propane suppliers think they have to keep up with the oil companies on prices. What does the price of a barrel of oil have to do with the cost of natural gas? Our propane has reached and exceeded the magic $4.00 per gallon and the electric company’s are raising out rates to offset their fuel costs. Do they really know which type of power created each KW or do they charge the same for all………. and if the little watt was created by wind or nuclear power that overcharge is clear profit.

Is this what is referred to as fleecing America or is it just robbery?

The 6:00 pm news showed Ben Bernanke appearing before Congress.  The reporter stated the look on his face was caused by inflation hangover. I think he had 1 too many for lunch.

I believe with Dementia , Alzheimer and all the other diseases associated with old age and mental illness the President, Supreme Court, Senate ,Congress, State and City Governments should be forced to retire at age 60. Don’t come back at me with experience is important, it really hasn’t helped that much, just look at the mess we are in today. I think I am old enough to make that statement because personally , I started second guessing my actions about that age and will be the first to admit it. Too bad our elected officials won’t .....and then take themselves out of the game and retire. P.G., J.J., S.D.O’C. to point out a few, not sure about J.W.P. ,maybe it just seems like he has been around 60 or 70 years. Oh yes, that brings up another thought, they should be tested every year to see if they can pour a liquid from a boot without looking on the bottom for instructions. That should also be a test to get them elected in the first place.

The only real problems with America is the politicians . They never learn from their mistakes................. but they always profit.
