We're getting ready to begin our new hour a 9 am.  It starts Monday.   Andrea and I and Ron and Alexis and Cory have been preparing.  Going through segment ideas - getting creative etc.

 

Do you have any suggestions?  What would you like to see in the new hour of Fox-10 Arizona Morning 9 - 10 am?

May I suggest you speak to some of the bloggers on here? There are some real great topics and as we all know there are not really many people that read these or participate. I think it would give the valley a perspective from everyday citizens on a varity of topics. Regards,

Hey Rick,
How about some kind of a flash back going back in time a year or more to update a previous news story? Such as, "On this day in 1995 we did a story about so and so being arrested on being a serial killer. On july 1st 1997 he was sentenced to 30 yesrs in jail. He will we released in two months for good behavior". It would be nice to find out what the old AZscam people are up to today. What are Sigfreid an Roy up to now? What is Pee Wee Herman up to? Tanya Harding? Former sports heros, has been actors, losers, winners, criminals, politicians, anything that was a big story, or famous back then. WE WANT UPDATES!

It's top secret to give out any ideas because somebody might come up with a better one.From my research usually the good morning america news media has impact because of the explosive hot line news articles.I would suggest something of a simmilarity but not in an office rather at diffrent allocations among the city and wearing a costume.Don't forget the baloons and cotton candy don't want to disturb the public too much.Informative and entertainment at the same time with a comic twist allway's wins the world.

I'd like to see in the 'new hour' of Fox-10 Arizona
at least an additional 90 minutes of:

[How-To] segments; i.e.,
Sing-Along,
Do-Self-Surgery,
Perk Coffee,
Joist by Proxy,
Criticize Everyone,
Hang -Out on a Gallows,
Eat a Square-Meal on a Round Plate,
Put the Point Atop a Pyramid,
Dingle-a-Berry ..... and many more!

[The-Way-It-Was] time-segments; i.e.,
Where were You in the 1800's?
What You Invented in 1942?
The Big Balloon Catastrophe of 2000 B. C.?
You Parachuted in 1493? ..... and many more!

[Remembering] segments; i.e.,
My Untimely Time Travel!
Evolution and You!
My Day in a Straight-Jacket!
Why You Can't be Pope!
Dinosaur-Divorcees of 165 Million B. C.! ..... and many more!

Hey Rick,

You should do more reporting from the roof!! LOL, I know how much you love that :)

You guys do a great job, and I'm glad you're extending your show till 10!

I get a lot of my weekend ideas from you guys, so I think that testing out more restaurants and special events would be cool.

Howdy Rick,

How about having a girl on your show that her dream is to meet Rick D'Amico, does not want a sweet sixteen celebration, just wants to meet you. She writes for her school paper and yes at the age of, going on sixteen Aug 19th, thinks you are the best. She attends Independence High School in the Glendale. I guess your show does reach out to kids "hint" a show involving postive kids that make a difference in their community " age 17 years and under. Have at least a segment every day featuring Arizona kids or things for kids just have it at the same time every day. Keep up the good work, love it.

Oh yeah, how about some gardening information? Pet stuff. Crafts. Cooking seems to have gone by the wayside lately. You show restaurants but not much cooking at home type of things. And I agree about Hooners "What's your story'. That was interesting.
