its 15 minutes till the polls close and ive been to every major news site on the web looking for something...and reading republican comments in the opinion sections.....they know they are seeing another watergate...they know it....and ive never felt so good about anything since the birth of my firstborn.....oh man...this is so sucking cool....lol...i wont sleep for a week...ty george w....for your debt and your war and your recession...now take your illiterate arse back to crawford...let laura fill out the mail forwarding card....im going back to mother church tomorrow
While the Obama camp prepares to unleash the power of "The Boss" upon voters in Cuyahoga County, the McCain camp has hurried to put together its own concert in nearby Youngstown. Republican advisers were caught unaware by the poll shift news of the show generated but quickly dispatched the candidates private plane to the United Kingdom to fetch up there own superstar....Gary Glitter. "I haven't been real busy since that Vietnamese business", said Mr. Glitter, "and i like the sound of this YOUNGstown place". The McCain camp was reportedly rebuffed by hundreds of artists in there desperate attempts to secure an act. At one point the idea of replaying old Liberace television performances was seriously being considered when news of Glitters availability reached the candidate. Not being able to talk to Gary three times before choosing him to represent the campaign, John instead relied upon a video clip sent from the UK http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nras3c8r45k
Mr. Glitters performance will be followed by Sarah Palins 2012 presidential campaign kickoff and a charity hot dog lunch (donations accepted) to purchase diesel for the trip back to the senate on the McCain campaign bus.....hope to see everyone there...bring your appetites and your spare change....Republican pollsters show that the publics preference of Gary over Bruce is surging as the concerts approach.

TRUE PATRIOTISM

I'm certain that anyone who has ever read one of my blogs realizes that i give little care for someone who supports a war only with his mouth.....and i think ive come up with a true test of patriotism.....our war in iraq is expected to cost us 200 billion dollars next year....and what id like to do is spread the sacrifice.....why should 150,000 of americas finest pay the only price for this war......rather than follow the bush policies of borrowing our way to victory at the cost of our grandchildren's future....the war will be paid for by a special WAR TAX.....to be divided equally amongst every man woman and child in america....and it would be collected annually on october 15.....wartax day......this years share would be 670 dollars per person....so a family of four would pay 2680 dollars in war taxes......for this year...and then as veterans returned and used their benefits that amount would be placed on the annual war tax from now until the last vet passes......im certain the hybrids and supers of the world would think twice before supporting the policies of the current administration if they were paying the bills.....instead of passing it on to the unborn....thats the real test of patriotism...not the cowards way
Although national unemployment rates have soared to 5.5 percent, our home has suffered the economic equivalent of hurricane katrina.......recent june unemployment statistics state that the ranks of the jobless have reached 8.1 percent in the cleveland heartland......the republican policies of borrow and spend....while cutting the taxes of the ultra-rich have seen the rate steadily increase throughout the bush administration.....from 3.6 percent when he was elected...to the aforementioned 8.1 percent.....a middle class resident of our once fair county has to walk only out the door to see boarded up homes and uncut grass.....cuyahoga county is a working mans county....a place where people only ask for a chance to prosper....a place where people raise their families and pay their taxes.....but while those taxes continue to be poured into a bottomless pit in iraq, we sink into the economic doldrums of recession....this november think locally....and vote for cuyahoga county.....lets get a candidate that wont just promise more of the same...... because look where that took us....cuyahoga county needs a change

imagine yourself over 70 years old trying to do what someone almost half your age is doing....without viagra.....and you ll feel for senator mccain.....after a triumphant tour of the war zones and europe, a confident and optimistic democratic candidate shone like a star in the night.....the mccain response......yelling "stop looking at him and look at me"....this campaign is looking more and more like the republican effort in 1996......bob dole vs the vibrant and able slayer of the first bush economy....mccain has served his country loyally and i think barracks first executive order should be to give him a ride on the space shuttle....he s earned it.....even the coldest heart in the democratic party has to feel abit of sympathy for a campaign burdened with a candidate lugging the failures we've seen for eight long years to the ballot box.....maybe a john kennedy could pull this out of the fire...unfortunately what they have is dan quayle's grandfather...democrats should begin to practice humility....it has to be a very painful experience for republicans...to come so close to controlling the supreme court......and then bet the house on a nag heading out to pasture

Well that was quite a week economically......we came dangerously close to a stockmarket melt down with the market officially down over 20 percent.....forget that early retirement everyone.....and the only thing that saved it was the US Treasury coming to the rescue of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae by promising a tax payer funded rescue to the tune of $15 Billion dollars......added to that the FDIC was forced to step in and seize IndyMac...the largest bank to go into default since Georges father was president....history will acknowledge our time with a new term...a Bush Economy.....unemployment continues to skyrocket surpassing the 5.5% mark and inflation hit 4.2 % in May...that means every dollar you have today will be worth 50 cents in just 17 years....like i said, forget about that early retirement that looked so promising during the Clinton years.....and still the republican candidate for president promises to continue the policies of the Bush administration.....i don't know about the nation...but im certain Ohio can't take four more years....anyone who knows their history will remember the fate of Alfred Landon in the election of 1936....lets hope history does repeat itself....Those tax cuts for the rich man don't sound like such a great idea now...do they?
As the republican convention approaches the handlers are tip toeing around a very difficult problem....how does John handle George.....how will they organize the St. Paul convention and never have McCain appear with Bush.....start to ask yourself....why doesnt the president ever appear with the candidate....dont they like one another?....do their schedules conflict?.....did they have a golfing spat years ago?......the kiss of death for Mr McCain is his association with the current republican president.......so how to handle it?...historically it is handled by Mr. Popularity appearing on the first night of the convention before the candidate arrives...and then being quickly whisked away....kind of cowardly if you ask me....rather you have to wonder why Mr McCain doesnt stand with George and say....George and I are proud republicans....and I'm dedicated to giving you more of the same......let's hope anyway
There's been ANOTHER shake up in the McCain campaign.....Due to the fact many in the GOP have seen the McCain juggernaut lose momentum after the Obama nomination, he has appointed Steve Schmidt to head the day to day operations at Virginia headquarters. Steve has had extensive experience in presidential campaigning, being a member of Karl Rove's advisers overseeing the message sent by George Bush in his 2004 bid for reelection. He has also served as counselor and spokesman for Vice President Dick Cheney.....the question of whether a McCain victory will be simply an extension of the Bush/Cheney record once again seems to be answered....can this country really survive four more years.....please vote this november....please.......................now this was the kind of news story that we can all get behind.....
The darling of the 90s economy just announced the closing of 600 stores.....Starbucks will close 10% of its stores due to the present economic downturn....obviously Starbucks sees little hope for a near future rebound...and added to that distressing and alarming news the big three auto manufacturers have announced that may sales are the worst in 10 years.....come november ask yourself....can we really take 4 more years?
i think its already a given that george w will replace warren g harding as the worst president this nation has ever suffered through....thanks george (harding was from marion,ohio)...unfortunately we...ohioans....are responsible for giving this person his second four years in the white house.....ohioans...hang your head for the war in iraq.....hang your head for the recession...hang your head for a worthless american dollar....hang your head for the surging federal debt.....hang your head for massive unemployment....hang your head for putting housing values in freefall......and hang your head for inflation like this country hasnt seen in almost 30 years......yesterday while shopping at my local walmart supercenter i saw a green pepper selling for 89 cents.....almost a single dollar for a green pepper at walmart...........at this point there seems to be no question about what bush was concerned about...with gasoline flirting with the four dollar bridge ......i shouldnt care about gas prices because owning energy stocks i make more than i spend on gas...but it still bothers me that this person and his party would sell america down the river for his rich oil buddies.....and with the postal increase yesterday...bush has overseen the greatest rise in postage rates in this countries history....when bill clinton took office a stamp cost .29.....when he left it was .33....a four cent increase.....so george w started at .33.......yesterday it was increased to .42.....a nine cent increase......almost 30 percent in 8 years........i hear the rush limbaugh types talking about their conservative agendas...but i ask you....can america really stand four more years of the bush agenda....i dont care who you vote for....as long as they will stand before you and say.....george w. bush is a criminal who sent america into a moral and economic tailspin.....if john mccain will say that...then i will consider him an honest and able candidate...but i havent heard it yet
