I'm a WEATHER FANATIC...........love springtime.  Chasing storms just for the fun of it.    Love to watch lightning, hear the thunder and watch the wind and rain.  

Wondering if one of our great meteoriologist or program directors could explain WHY all t.v. stations have the weather at the same time and the commercials at the same time?    And, how do you guys coordinate that sort of thing??  Don't you think that we might want to change over to see what the other guys at station XYZ are lying about?

It never fails that when Channel 4 goes to a commercial, the other stations have commercials also.......As you might tell, I'm not a fan of commercials.   But, would rather compare the stations in their weather forecasting and delivery.

I tell ya, I've never even paid attention to that before. You are more perceptive than most in the morning. I never would have noticed. I just stay on FOX 4 for the rest of the time I'm getting ready for work. I don't care about the other stations my self. Hopefully you will get your answer.

The stations do monitor each other. That is what I think. My opinion of course

I think it is all part of a master plan to out smart us.

Well it aint work'n, I DVR the entire News and fast forward through the commercials. You gotta stay one step ahead of them. wink, wink

Rusty Nickel just about describes me. I'm a bit rusty and don't really have two nickels to rub together. Retired retail executive who now works part-time in the home mortgage field. Travel extensively throughout North and East Texas, sometimes logging as much as 1200 miles per week. Work when I want to, play when I need to. Hobbies include cooking (eating), gardening and entertaining grandchildren. Dislike obnoxious people, arragant people and those who are so one sided that they need to be propped up so they don't fall over. Can't understand why parents fail to raise children who respect others and take responsibility for their own actions. I have a couple of "rotten kids" who have a couple of "rotten kids" -- and, I admit that I've probably had a hand in making 'em that way. I love kids, dogs, fast cars and lots of good food. Hate commercials that show foods that I can never get when I order the same thing....still love to cook and hate to clean up afterwards.
