scottythecomic's whimsical rantings

by scottythecomic from North Dallas

Last Post 2 days, 5 hours Ago

Aside from causing the caps to melt like a Dallas sno-cone in July, and forcing the polar bears to store their Coca-Cola in refrigerators from Aarons Rent-A-Center, now Global Warming causes kidney stones.  I'm not kidding but surely the researchers are...aren't they?

An excert of an article read thus: "More Americans are likely to suffer from kidney stones in the coming years as a result of global warming, according to researchers at the University of Texas. Kidney stones, which are formed from dissolved minerals in the urine and can be extremely painful, are often caused by caused by dehydration."

Tom Brikowski, a Dallas UTD researcher conceded that predictions about global warming also include significant uncertainty.  Ya think? But yet go ahead and publish it anyway, right Tom? I mean, how else can you easily obtain grants if not by subscribing to the global warming scare?

Ok, I must admit I'm no scientist and maybe my conclusions aren't worthy,  but I don't see where GW causes KS.  Seems to me it's a matter of diet. But hey, maybe these "scientists" can determine if kidney stones were present  with Eric the Red back in the days of the frozen tundra.

There's another non-scientist that pushes Global Warming for profit, and the masses flock to his throne, tossing their trinkets of wisdom, and cold, hard cash. The Benevolent Master of Deception (and inventor of the Internet and cell phone) then passes these on to us mere serfs in his make-believe realm. Well, except the cash.

I don't know about you, but I'm not selling my soul out to fantasy nor am I buying into this nonsense.

It's just more madness coming out of the liberal circle of environuts.

it's kinda like all the things they blame on smoking , smoking gave doctors a cause for all illness that they didn't have an explanation for that everyone would believe in except a few of us, that consider it pure hogwash!!

When all else fails with liberals, blame Bush or Global Warming.

Perhaps we can file this under the Anti-Miracles of Global Warming. They can put it in their new holy book. "And verily it came to pass, that withith the sun beating upon their unworthy heads, they too could not pass......." Of course, I still want someone to explain to me how it's environmentally sound to print every governmental document in any of 27 languages...or why the oh so green crown that was in Central Park last night listening to Bon Jovi left an estimated 150,000 bottles. I guess it just depends on who is doing it.

TruBlu, if you'd have asked the crowd, they weren't littering - merely using the park as a drop-off location for recyclers.

Danged liberal spin! lol

Did they consider that too little water intake could be the problem?

Of course they did in a round-about way. Global warming means more dehydration blah, blah, blah.

These enviro-nazi's amuse me.

Why not? If they can blame snow storms on global warming, they can blame it for anything. Remember, those people don't have to prove anything, just say it.

GWFP = global warming for profit. LOL! I love it!
All the real 'proof', disproves global warming and yet the nimwits insist it's true. The fact that the same ppl told us we'd be in an ICE AGE by 1985 doesn't seem to hurt their creds, either. Must be nice to be a liberal... lies, inaccuracies, fictions, nonsense movies/books, nothing matters... expect the articulate 'pretty words'.
Me, I rather stick to truth & facts.

Have you seen the big 'commercial' done by some actress (??) pandering about the imminent demise of the poor itty polar bears?! (*insert itty tears) A TOTAL bag of lies and yet, these boobs are undeterred in their agenda! All this is a ruse, a hoax a lie to push on the ignorant to punish us via taxes and worse. And of course, they feel NO shame... I guess STUPIDITY has it's advantages?

Hi Chard.

Rather than stupidity, I believe it to be a calculated plot by Gore and his sevants to rid the nation of all discourse against GWFP.

In that manner he can dictate to the world policy that would go unchallenged by the robot class he is generating even as we speak.

This is the same crowd that sits stupified at the throne of Pelosi, Reed, Schumer, Kennedy and many other left wing usurpers of America.

furbie,

"I don't know about the kidney stones, Scotty -

So, that would mean that Global Warming causes hemorrhoids.

HA, too funny!!! I like that!!!

Chicken Little: today I rode my bike to Central Market and they were refridgerating their perishable goods - I ran to the manager and asked him if he was aware of the harm he was doing!

it never ceases to amaze me, that people that have been around for a mere 7o years or less, than know more about how to take care of this earth , than the eco system commonly referred to as Ole Mother Nature, has been taking care of it for thousands of years, go figure, they haven't even any idea how many previous adjustments She has already made over the thousands of years, but the know best, I think not,I will depend on Ole Mother Nature along time before I believe in science of only a hundred years or so, even with all their suppositions and educated guessing for the most part , they really don't know anything for absolute fact , I've watched weather patterns change back and forth for over 50 years Myself, and really doesn't change much , just goes in cycles, even weather forecasters, don't always get the weather right, so can say for an absolute fact what ou weather will be in anothr 50 years !!

The Famers Almanac is more proficient in prognosticating weather than the global warming cult.

Native Californian transplanted to Texas in 1989, and I love the Metroplex! I'm a veteran paratrooper/infantryman and very conservative minded. I have no qualms about confronting policies that are detrimental to the United States of America regardless of any political persuasion. I support a strong military, tough, no-nosense politics, truth, justice and yes, even apple pie. I am against the Oprah-ization of this country, liberal politics and seditionists at every level. I'm a firm believer in the idea that the coddling mentality has backfired and served to ruin the backbone of America. There's nothing a good BLEEP-kicking or some firm policies won't fix. I love sports, most notably NASCAR, the NHL, the NFL and MLB. I am a season ticket holder for the Dallas Stars and out at Texas Motor Speedway. Win or lose, I stick to my teams: Dallas Stars, Dallas Cowboys, San Diego Chargers, Texas Rangers, Houston Astros, Cleveland Indians and the San Diego Padres.
