scottythecomic's whimsical rantings

I am not ready for an inexperienced junior senator from Illinois, with many close radical ties to known terrorists, seditionists and socialists to become president; therefore I’ll vote for the lesser of the two liberals, John McCain.

I am not ready to pay higher fuel prices while the fat cats vacation; therefore I endorse the “Paris Plan,” although I do not endorse either Paris or Paris, France.

I am not ready to be threatened nor otherwise intimidated by LULAC as a whole, by it’s individual members, or by any other groups affiliated with them; therefore I always vote with my money and write the Mayor and City Council members individually.

I am not ready for our troops to come home from anywhere they’re serving until the time is right from a proper military perspective, not a political one; therefore I stay abreast of what’s happening and email, call or write the appropriate authorities and voice my opinion accordingly.

I am not ready to surrender to the incessant barrage of attacks by non-believers on Christianity; therefore I pray, fight on against Islam, atheism, secular humanism, and other false religions (that people are free to pursue), combating ignorance and bias while praying some more.

I am not ready to give up the freedom we have in America to incremental laws, entitlement programs, big government and those with subversive ideologies that otherwise seek to destroy this country from within; therefore I side with conservative policies, and, against the desires of a certain political candidate, cling to my guns and Bible.

What are you ready for?

I am ready for a Revolution of INTOLERANCE.
For far too long we the people have turned the other cheek and lost half of our constitutional principles.
I am ready for we the people to stand up and demand that GOD come first in this country.
I am ready for a shirt or hat that says praise the Lord and pass the ammunition if you think I have no right to praise Christianity or defend myself or teach my children right from wrong in the name of 'fairness'.

Willie, I agree 100% with your take. Mental and physical toughness built this country, now political correctness and the metrosexual destroy it.

I think the 'silent majority' agree but I STRONGLY feel the left has used our 'silence' to do us in. Their current campaign to define homosexuals and lesbians as okay and to teach children that its right and that the bible is wrong is very disturbing. Next up will be banning any one from saying or writing the word homosexual and demanding Bibles be edited.

We agree, jla, but others don't see it that way, but rather see it this way:

Self
Humanism
Multiculturalism

Thanks for the advice, alter, but I prefer politics and news more.

I am ready to see every single incumbent voted out for the next 20 years.

Moankie, it's just too bad we can't do anything about term limits. Politicians will never vote that into law.

We just have to educate people - we cannot be silent any longer. Everyone, aside from stupid_alter, is correct.

The public school systems get our kids at 4 years old with little minds of mush and sculpt them to believe that a polar bear or a chi chi bird are more important to the Earth than humans are. It is getting old. We were blessed with a country where we can worship as we choose and we have taken it for granted.

TI, unfortunately a lot of people are so fed up with the duplicity of politics that they've become apathetic.

They are accepting the secular premises and trying to combat the legislation - it makes the argument difficult. Like accepting that global warming is a man-made phoenomenon then trying to argue against carbon taxes. Or accepting that the government is there to solve our problems but trying to argue against entitlement legislation.

It makes my giant cranium hurt.

All I know is that His return is imminent. It's getting crazy.

It will be okay scotty. Just keep fighting the fight until you wake up in His presence one day :)

Oh, it'll be okay for us believers!

I see where the Muslims in the Philippines are acting up again, not to mention in China.

Native Californian transplanted to Texas in 1989, and I love the Metroplex! I'm a veteran paratrooper/infantryman and very conservative minded. I have no qualms about confronting policies that are detrimental to the United States of America regardless of any political persuasion. I support a strong military, tough, no-nosense politics, truth, justice and yes, even apple pie. I am against the Oprah-ization of this country, liberal politics and seditionists at every level. I'm a firm believer in the idea that the coddling mentality has backfired and served to ruin the backbone of America. There's nothing a good BLEEP-kicking or some firm policies won't fix. I love sports, most notably NASCAR, the NHL, the NFL and MLB. I am a season ticket holder for the Dallas Stars and out at Texas Motor Speedway. Win or lose, I stick to my teams: Dallas Stars, Dallas Cowboys, San Diego Chargers, Texas Rangers, Houston Astros, Cleveland Indians and the San Diego Padres.
