The best Republican candidate bowed out of the race today, and stubborn conservatives have nobody to blame but themselves. The most laughable problem looking back is that conservatives didn't get behind Romney early because they were waiting on Giuliani. GIULIANI!!! Conservatives? Then, the "maybe it's Fred Thompson" crowd couldn't make a call. That guy wanted no part of a presidential campaign, what a joke. Then there is the anti-mormon, bigoted baptist bible belt: "Yeah Huckabee!" Buh-by Huckster. These idiot conservative radio and talking head hosts just identified Romney as the only conservative in the race this week. DUH!
So now you got McCain! Congratulations.

I'm sure Candidate Mike Huckabee is a nice guy, and was probably a fine pastor. However, I believe that one known lie out of a person's mouth means I must doubt everything else that comes from that mouth. This is not regarding Huckabee's Jesus - Satan comment about the Mormons and Mitt Romney, this is something much more obvious.I have now heard Huckabee say several times something similar to this quote from the New York Times article: “I asked Huckabee, who describes himself as the only Republican candidate with a degree in theology, if he considered Mormonism a cult or a religion. 'I think it’s a religion,' he said. 'I really don’t know much about it.'
Mike Huckabee is a Former Baptist Minister, with a degree in Theology - - when he says he "doesn't know much about" the Mormon religion, he is LYING. And when one LIES, that makes one a LIAR and I am tired of liars in politics. Any decent Baptist Minister knows plenty about Mormons. I would bet my life Huckabee has even given anti-Mormon sermons.
Ask any parishioner of Pastor Jack Graham at Prestonwood Baptist, or Dr. Robert Jeffress's parishioners at First Baptist Dallas, if they think their Pastor "doesn't know much about" the Mormon religion. What a CROCK. These Pastors would never say such a thing, because it would be a LIE. Mike Huckabee tried to avoid a controversial topic that I know, and any good Southern Baptist KNOWS he feels strongly about. But he LIED. As a Baptist Minister (former), he believes Mormonism is a cult, and that Mormons are not Christians. Why does he LIE about that?Just another politician who lies, big surprise right? But it is a surprise for a guy who is trying to sell himself as THE Christian candidate.
