Here is a few questions that I would like to know the answer to. If you think you can, go ahead and leave an answer. If nothing else, maybe it will open your eyes a little bit and encourage your mind to seek these answers as well. So here goes...

1) When does human life begin?

2) Pres. Bush's council of bioethics believes an embryo ( a fertilized egg) contains a human life. If you looked at a human embryo and a chimp embryo, is it possible to tell which one contained the human life?

3) Does a teratoma contain human life?

4) Do non human organisms have souls?

5) Would a hybrid human have a soul?

6) When does the soul enter the body?

7) Where is it located?

8) When does the soul leave?

9) Where does it go?

10) How long does it take to get there?

11) In life, organisms with the most favored traits reproduce more often than those with the least favored traits. For example, if the world decided to only reproduce Christians, then the non Christians would be forced to convert or be exterminated. Thus, proof of evolution and adaptation through natural selection. So, if, according to the bible, man was created to be perfect in the image of God, why has evolution and adaptation occurred?

12) What was the purpose of the appendix?

13) What was the purpose of the muscles in our ears?

I know I'm getting pretty deep, but these are the things I ponder. I hope people at least attempt to answer some of these questions. Even though it may seem so, I am not taking a stance on either side, because I do not yet have enough answers to make my decision. Therefore, this blog is completely open, and encouraged for debate. I'm interested to see what your opinion is in this matter. And thanks for reading my blogger.

So, President Bush recently used his veto power for the first time since becoming president. Unfortunately, he decided to veto the ability to begin a positive leap towards making the world a better place. I find this quite ironic. According to the president, to use embryos for stem cell research is unethical and immoral. He believes that each embryo is a "potential for life." What I find ironic is that he would feel this way and then go home and eat the steak of a cow that was raised to be slaughtered. I'm no vegetarian, and I am not saying that raising cows is ethical nor unethical. However, what's the difference? Many people believe that stem cell research is going against the bible. But doesn't it say that everything on this planet was put here for mankind to use? In my mind that would include our own selves, and embryos. Now, I'm not saying that the president is a bad one. Don't get me wrong. I spent four years under his command as a United States Marine. I only believe that his recent decision to use his veto was a poorly made decision. Anyways, thanks for reading my blogger.
