LULAC said all they wanted was to put the ordinances to a vote and let the people decide. What liars they are! It was decided to take it to the people, and they have hit the courts with a lawsuit for the Hispanic business owners. Someone please make this make sense!!!

At the first of the Farmers Branch controversy, the Hispanic leaders got their face in every TV camera they could to instruct the Hispanics to boycott Farmers Branch. It must have been on every news station and in every Spanish newspaper. BOYCOTT FARMERS BRANCH!

Now LULAC, ACLU, and the Hispanic business owners have filed a lawsuit for Hispanic business owners who say their businesses are suffering because of the boycott. The way I see it is that they are now suffering the consequences of what their own "leaders" told the Hispanic population to do. So, if someone boycotts the businesses in a town doesn't it stand to reason that business will be lost?

Can someone tell me why they are surprised that business is off or why the city of Farmers Branch is to blame? Looks like they just shot themselves in the foot and expect to blame it on someone else. What next!! This Dallas judge is a complete idiot for stepping in to this mess. This judge and LULAC have lost all credibility to me....although LULAC didn't have far to go.

Doesn't suprise me that LULAC lied. They all lie.
Poor businesses, maybe the idiot owners of these "Mexican" businesses should have said something to LULAC when they told those people to boycott.

Onelanguage I knew that one but then again I used to own a farm.

Who is this judge? I've never heard a name. What is in it for him? Is he a Democrat? Is he of Mexican decent?
How can a judge that is to uphold the letter of the law and dole out punishments to law breakers do such a thing? Is he blind to the fact that these illegals are breaking a Federal Law?

A few of my thoughts,

- Fox4 News & the Drive-By media have given this issue their blessing, meaning they stand beside those of LULAC and the people who will do the jobs American's won't do.

- Illegal means Law Breaker! I do not understand why our government from Bush, to Perry, to our local mayors do not have the spine to address this issue. My hat is off to Farmers Branch, I support them.

- I think that NO ONE in power is addressing the real problem,,, MEXICO!!! How can such a beautiful country have such a horrible government, so currupt, so poor, and sits below one of the most powerful economies in the world?! If Mexico and her people would stand up and DEMAND change, DEMAND to be more like America, could you imagine the economic powers and civilizations of the North American continent?! One thing is for sure, this problem won't go away unless Mexico is part of the solution, not part of the problem.

Since LULAC, ACUL and others are fighting to help the illegals, (which they are breaking the law) would they help my grand-son. What law was he breaking?? Having a cool one at the age of 18. Yep he got a ticket.

Even though the news didn't report his name, did anyone else believe they saw Domingo Garcia down there in Farmers Branch involving himself in the recent petitions?? If you remember, he's the hispanic-rights "activist" who had his nose in everyone's business involving a shooting involving officers (of a department I cannot recall) shooting a hispanic man that threatened them with a knife. He compared those police officers to members of the Taliban.

I am married with three grown children. The last one just moved out so we are experiencing "empty nest" quite happily. No dogs, no cats, or anything else to take care of. I am a proud American, Texan and Southern woman. I am very proud of my son, who is serving in the US Navy. I am bilingual as I speak English and Texan. We are currently looking to relocate in Farmers Branch.
