FOX 4's meterologist Ron Jackson reports there is a severe thunderstorm warning in affect for Tarrant County until 4:30 p.m. Sunday.

Jackson said north central and northeastern parts of the area should see heavy thunderstorms.

Winds are predicted at 50 to 60 miles per hour. Small hail and heavy rain in a short period of time are also possibilities.

Jackson said he does not expect tornados to form with this storm, which is moving in a northeastern direction.

All other areas of the metroplex should also expect some rain. Jackson said some areas are already reporting 1 to 2 inches of rain.

All areas of the metroplex should expect intense lightening and strong wind as the storm continues to move, Jackson said.
