As most of you know, I am by NO means an Obama supporter, but, in the same token, I do think he is a smart man. I don't agree with his beliefs, I don't approve of late term abortions, nor do I support same sex marriage, and Obama supports both of them.
I don't know if he will try to take our guns away from us or not, but I believe he would like to. He will NOT be a very good president, even though I think he is smart. Being smart and being good are two different things totally.
We as a nation need to stand up and realize that this country is heading downhill very fast, so even though I don't agree with him, we need to all support him, because if God didn't, I promise he wouldn't be in office. We need to support him as much as God does, or we will regret it.
God Bless all, and everyone have a good thanksgiving. Gobble Gobble.

My wife thinks that obama is the anti-christ, well, I don't think he is the anti-christ, but I do believe that with his ideas, and plans, we will end up in communism, if he stays in office long.

People have been saying that Bush is the problem to our recession. I want to remind everyone of who really does run this country. Bush does NOT run this country, congress does. I don't understand, the president can only be elected to office twice max, and he doesn't really do anything except veto in order to make laws. Congressman are allowed to run as many times as they like, and stay in congress for however long they want, and they are the ones that actually run this country. Now, we have a democratic controlled congress, and a democratic president. Anything the president wants to do, more than likely, will be passed.
I don't understand why we have a president that really does nothing, that can only be elected to office twice, and a group of congressman, that can be elected to office every four years with no maximum number of times, and they control this country.
People have been blaming president Bush for all our problems, and he has had nothing to do with them, congress is the one that has caused the problems. When there is a problem, congress blames the president, but when things go good, it is congress that gets the credit. People will come to realize that they have 2 years of a democratic president, and a democratic congress to see how this country runs with a president in charge before they can change it, because they can elect new members to congress in two years.

I might not have voted for Obama, but he is my president now, so God tells me I need to respect my countries leaders. As much as I disagree with his beliefs, I will always respect him. He is now the President of the United States, so I will always honor him. I will be honest, he wasn't my choice for president, but I do congradulate him.
I do have a problem with everyone saying we now have our first African American president. He is not an african American, he is bi-racial, just like my son, so he might be half Kenyan, but he is also half white. I am not bringing this up as a statement to be prejudicial, but to state a fact. People keep talking about him because of his skin color.
I hope congress doesn't sabotage his presidency the way it did President Bush. Yes, his presidency was sabotaged. He was unable to do things he promised in his second term because dems controlled congress, and they can do what they want, with a 2/3 vote.
And yes, before anyone says he wasn't sabotaged, in his first term, he was able to do things for our country because repubs controlled congress, and was able to get things passed. I know that sounds wrong, but dems did not want a repub president, so when he tried to get something passed, democrats would stop it, and congress is full of criminals, so even though he is president, doesn't mean he will be able to do whatever he wants whenever he wants.
I do pray he has a good service as president, and everyone honors his position. I also, know this country is full of bigots, and there are a lot of people that don't want him as president, and it is probable they want him dead. For the record, I don't want him dead, I want nothing but the best for him, I just pray he does God's will, not his.
I just want to say, "Good Luck President Barrak Obama on your election." I may not have voted for him, but I do wish him good luck.

Hasn't this bill already been passed? Didn't the people pass a law banning gay marriage a few years ago, why are they doing this again?

I was at church on sunday, and my son asked my pastor who he is voting for my pastor told him, and he said, "Good, because if you were voting for Obama, I wasn't coming back to this church."
We claim we know what is best for our children, but we don't listen to them to see what they like. My son made up his own mind on who he wanted to win, we did tell him how immoral Obama is, but my son made up his own mind on who he wanted to win.

He claims that his "white" grandmother was like his mother growing up, and she is dying of cancer, yet his election is more important to him than she is, I'm sorry, I had a brother and father both that died of cancer, and I spent time with them, and I was making about $100,000 a year when my father died, and still took time to be with him, and I am disabled now, and still spent as much time as possible with him.
Don't get me wrong, I am sympathetic of his loss, but really, he is using her death as a way to get votes.
I figured out what Obama's Change stands for - "Come Help a NUT get Elected - C-H-A-N-G-E." I know some people have came up with another definition, but I would have to say NUT is the best description.
People need to vote for a person because they know he is the best candidate, not because his grandmother died, or had cancer. If Obama had MORALS, I wouldn't have a problem voting for him, he is a smart man, I am not denying that, but the man has NO MORALS.
I am editing this blog and adding one simple thing, I am sorry about his grandmother, I wouldn't wish for anyone to lose a relative to cancer. I have lost two relatives, and I feel for him in that respect, but I do NOT respect the man. He believes in partial birth abortions, which is murder, and he approves of gay marriage, both of which are abomidable to God, and he does NOT approve of either.
Also, I do believe Jesus is my Lord and Savior, and I am a Christian, I will go to heaven and spend eternity there. God does not approve of homosexual relations, and says they will not go to heaven, so I am ahead of a few of you.
Barrak Obama, to you: I am sorry for the passing of your grandmother.

We have to do something to keep Obama out of office and make sure McCain wins the election on Tuesday, otherwise, this country is in for a mess of problems.

I just want to ask what people are thinking, are they nuts? The L.A. Times is holding back that tape back to protect Obama, not any other reason, they are wanting him to win the election, so they are suppressing the tape. They might release it if he starts to cost them money.
Another thing I don't understand, is after the Jeremiah Wright thing, he still is ahead in the poles.

I have an issue with the media this election year. The media isn't suppose to be partial, but it seems this time they are. I have never seen the media go for a candidate like they have Obama in my life.

People are so dead set on electing a black president, that they will do anything to get Obama in office. Everyone needs to realize, 2 people have already tried to assasinate him, so you need to realize, you will be voting for Biden, NOT Obama in this election, because we all know that Obama isn't going to last a full term. Fact of the matter is, Palin got more votes when running for mayor, than Biden did running for president, that should tell you something.

Obama supports abortion, and gay marriage. Both of those are abomidable in Gods eyes. God does not support nor approve of either of them. We need to make sure we are voting for the right candidate. About 2/3 of America claims to be Christian, and about 1/2 of those support Obama. God tells us that both abortion and homosexuality are both sins, yet so called Christians support him. I am sorry, but if the Christians don't all pull together and start supporting McCain, we will be in a mess of trouble.. God Bless you and have a Good day. In Jesus name, Amen.

According to the bible, in the end times 50% of the people that go to church, really aren't saved, they just think they are. If you read Matthew 22, you will see where 50% of the churches in the last days will believe false teachings, and I believe we are in the last days. Proof that we are in the last days are some of the churches that have popped up. Take a look at gay churches, along with some of the other churches. I love everyone, including gay people, but there is several places in the bible that talks against it, even in the new testament. I praise God, and I love Him, I also know he wouldn't make sin, we are all predestined to go to Heaven, it is up to us to chose to go to hell.
People say I am homophobic, and I might be, but I want to help people get to heaven. I love God, and He loves me, and He wants me to help others find their way to heaven, and I try my best. Saying being gay is a sin is what God wants me to do, help explain what is sin to other people.
I don't want to hear people talking about how I am crazy and don't know what I am talking about, the bible clearly says that being gay is wrong, as long as the bible says it, that is good enough for me.
I know what people are thinking, the bible says we should stone some people for things they do, but if you read the new testament, Jesus clearly states, "he who is sinless, cast the first stone." Fact of the matter is, Jesus tells us not to stone people for any reason. He stopped a group of people from stoning a prostitute, Jesus promotes love, not hate, and by stoning someone, you are doing the same thing a pharisee, or sadjucee would do, and by trying to stop what I have to say, makes a person no different that the pharisees from Jesus' time that tried to stop his teachings.
