I have been a Christian for a while, and I have written multiple blogs regarding our saviour Jesus Christ, and I keep getting the same argument, God isn't real, and prove he is.  Well, Judas tried to force Jesus' hand and make him bring an army of angels from heaven to prove who He was, and Jesus refused, instead chose to die on the cross for OUR sins, not His, he was sinless.  Because he died on the cross for OUR sins, and spilled His blood for us, we can now enter into heaven when we die, but the thing is, we have to accept Him in our hearts, and Believe that He died on the cross for our sins.  Jesus said, "If you deny me before man, I will deny you before my father, so, if you don't confess with your mouth, and believe in your heart that Jesus is the Son of God, then you have destined yourself to eternity in hell.

Now, science up until recently tried every way in the world to prove that Jesus didn't exist, but recently, scientist have been trying to prove that he did exist and some have succeeded.  So, whatever your belief is, it isn't to late to accept Jesus as your saviour, he will forgive all your sins, and you can be reborn, all you have to do is ask, and it  will be done.

I don't know what EVERYONE'S belief's are, but I do know it isn't to late to accept Jesus, I am begging all that don't believe to please accept Jesus, you know in your heart of hearts, I am telling the truth.

We need a Sunday Church blog so everyone can preach their beleifs and damn those who don't agree...

Seriously, I'm glad you feel so strongly in your beliefs, but this isn't the place.

Science is starting to change it's ideas about the Bible. It seems that the more science tries to disprove the Bible, the more truth it actually uncovers, and the historical events of the Bible are actually being verified by scientific discovery. The Bible is absolutely true, word for word, cover to cover.By the way, there are many good scientists, Christian and non-Christian, who do believe in the biblical events, and the miracles of Jesus.

I agree with Shell and Red why can't the bible and science go together? If you are going to say you can't have one without the other than your a religious nut bar.

Thank you red river and putonyourbigpants, I appreciate the compliments, at least there are some people out there that agree that Jesus is just as much news as the weather is. Shell, you have had a problem with me for months, I am sorry you have issues with Jesus, if there is something that you don't understand about God or Jesus, just ask, I will answer the questions the best I can. We as Christians need to realize that the world needs witnessing to, and if we don't witness through all means, then we will be letting Jesus and God down, the bible says Go and witness throughout all the nations, and by witnessing, you should use all means available, not just talking face to face.

Scientists instinctively never believe unitl they see. So I am not suprised at all through the years they have not believed. Thats how scienece is.

That does not mean thougth it is not true. I cant believe anyone would think that these were just stories that were made up. There is to much solid evidence and proof theat Jesus existed and the Bible is true. I may not always agree with every word in the Bible depending on how I think it may have been interpreted but there is no way that Jesus was not real and is now a part of all of us.

Puton, I defended homosexuals in one blog that ended long ago.

My problem here is the over abundance of faith based preaching going on in a News Blog. My point is that people have different faiths, different beliefs, and different views of how one interprets the Bible and it's versus. One could take the same verse and interpret it in 10 different ways.

Christian, Baptist, Methodist, Jewish, Catholic, Prodestant, Lutheran, Muslim... Each one interprets the issues differently.

Does that make anyone wrong? No.

The issue I have with the faith based blogs here is that each and every one of us have a deep belief in our faith and we each believe we are right and the other misguided.

The problem is when one person condemns another for their lack to conform to anothers beleif. When one condemns another to hell because they do not choose to agree, is wrong. I will not call anyone out here because I don't feel like searching the blogs. But there are some here who consistently tell people they are sinners and will go to hell. That is wrong.

Only God knows who will cross over into Heaven and noone here can say otherwise.
Good intentions aside, people should not condemn others to hell.

Tr, I have no problem with you, nor any others here. I just find it frustrating that no matter what one person believes, there is always one person to jump in, call them a sinner, preach how damned they are, and totally beat them down using religion.

Attacking a persons religion, faith, and beliefs is like attacking them physically. It is wrong in every way.

Shell, you don't understand, these days, Jesus is news, only about 4% of the people born after 1984 believe in Jesus as their savior, I'm not saying everyone, but 4% of the population is not very many people, so we must get His name out there. People born 1924-1946, about 60% of those people are true Christians, people born 1947-1962, about 34% are Christian, people born 1963-1983, about 16% are Christians, so it just keeps getting worse and worse every generation. Homosexuality isn't helping matters any, there are probably about 4 times as many homosexuals as it was in 1970, it is become a fad, people think it is cool to be homosexual. Now, you can defend them all you want, but the bible says the kingdom of heaven WON'T have homosexuals in it. I am not bashing homosexuals, just quoting the bible. It isn't like I have anything against them, my wifes cousin is gay, but unless he changes his ways, he isn't going to heaven. I'm not trying to force my own personal opinion on anyone, just quoting scripture.

The Bible also says that God is forgiving. So in my mind, no matter our "sin", God will forgive us if we ask him to.

Homosexuality is not on the rise, it is just that people don't have to hide it anymore. So there for you see and hear of "more".

I will agree that more and more people do not believe, I am not one of them. I think that the problem starts in the homes by parents not giving their children structure and morals. Back in the day, being a bad kid was "shunned", today it is accepted and ignored by society. It's become a world of people who care only for themselves and nothing for others. Because of that, they stop believing.

I am a skeptic. But then again I am a skeptic about alot of things. Not that I don't beleive, I just tend to need more proof than most...but that's due to things from the past and the uncertainty of today.

Let's put it another way, it may not be on the rise, but kids are starting to find it cool, so technically it is on the rise, the problem is, because the kids are starting to find it cool, it is causing people to expirament. And you are right, God does forgive us if we ask, the problem is, people aren' asking, they are thinking their good works will get them to heaven.

I am a 40 yr old white retired male. I was forced to retire for health reasons. God has blessed my life tremendously, I have a 4 year old son and a 20 year old son. I am a photographer, and a born again Christian. On occasion, I do preach sermons at my church. I am also a puppeteer for children's church, and have been for about 2 or 3 years. My youngest son everyone says is going to be our churches next pastor. I love him so much. My oldest son is living with his fiance now. He has decided to get married next march, and that makes me sad since I was his age when I got married, and that didn't work. I do hope that it works out. I love both my sons very much, and my love for my children makes me understand the love God has for us. I may not be the perfect person, but I work for someone that is perfect (Jesus).
