But seriously... who would wear one????  If lightning struck, I guess that would be where the "high beams" would come in, eh?

Next week will mark one year anniversary for me riding a vanpool with other Dart riders.  Our vanpool starts out in Mabank, picks up in Kaufman and then off to downtown we go.  The farthest our van pool goes is Inwood and I-35.

After calculating gasoline costs, wear and tear on the vehicle I had, etc... I estimated I have saved WELL OVER $7,800.00.  Round trip to work and back is 124 miles. 

This month is actually the highest I have paid for van dues $85.00.  The lowest was I think $59.00 in October of last year (2007).

I'm so thankful that I have the opportunity to be a part of this service. The only bad thing about riding (my opinion) is that you have a van full of women (13) with each having different personalities... so I basically just mind my own business, sleep on the way in and sleep on the way home.  Rested enough to hit the gym when I arrive home!
