Then you need to report the supervisor to TXDOT. If you don't want to I will.. My husband supervises mowing several times a year on the highway and they have had some of the same guys for 20 years. I'm just a bit defensive as they dot all their i's and cross their t's and still get stereotyped as employing illegals.

I would bet you a brand new white sheet that the supervisor DID NOT actually tell you he employed illegals. He would and could get in big trouble for knowingly employing illegals, so why would he tell a disgruntled citizen that? Puhlease.

But I do agree with the logic - hate to call someone a liar but I don't know anyone who would admit to a stranger that they employed illegals.

The way the contractors work now is if they get popped once by ICE then they set up a routine check (done by ICE) of their people. They are inforcing a lot better than they did a couple of years ago, believe it or not.
