Buy your own, ok? I wouldn't buy Cuban if he was a dollar.

Seems like the Mavs are going to hell in a handbasket at this rate. Please, somebody, any wealthy billionaire out there...save the Mavs! We need a decent owner, save Dallas, Save the country form Cuban.
Well, wouldn't you know it, or would You? Tonight I heard Dale Hanson give an excellent commentary concerning the upcoming 2008 Olympics in Beijing and the great sportsmanship that the NBA teams both East and West bring at such an event. Apparently Mark Cuban thinks differently and I think this is an all too familiar story concerning a very wealthy business owner who is in a class all by himself, a selfish class. He needs to wake up and understand the game of basketball and ownership is not about how strongly you feel now that you have a little tenure within the ring of basketball team ownership. Do you hear other team owners kicking up sand like his guy? No. Cuban needs to just let some things go, now he's fussing about players going to contribute their professional time and talent to represent something far greater than his own little hot hands can control.
Did you see the clips of Kobe and LaBron James and several others contributing, getting along like true professionals for a common cause? Sure, how awesome! But guess who's poking their lip out about the USA team collaboration? Nobody but Cuban. How Selfish, how so very immature, how so very childish Cuban. Apparently he has no idea when to shut up.
This is a sad day for the olympics, but you know what...the olympics has been going on before Cuban even had a thought about trying to do something in the team spirit and it will continue to go on for a lifetime. Tell you what Cuban, you stay at home and pout, but stay out of the way of true teams and team members and let them go and represent our wonderful country while you choose not to.
Let's Rebuild The Mavs

Ok Mavs fans, I'm sure we're all sick about what's happened with the team this year, but to tell the truth...the whole season sucked anyway. We started off very sluggishly and with very little pep. I think for the most part the vets of the team did know what they had to do this season, but again, there was a shift in dynamics with some of the players. They let some really good players go at the wrong time. The timing for several things was inadveredently wrong. The coaching was ok, just the player make up made things go south. Let's not be too harsh on Avery (which has been wrong of alot of people), yeah he's young, young with coaching, but you've got to admit that he did get them to three western conference championships, three seasons in the playoffs and one season in the finals. Nellie couldn't do all of that during the time he had the Mavs.
I must say that at this point we need to rebuild the Mavs with serious consideration for a stronger guards, forwards and support. I must say that I am sick to death about Dirk, let's ditch him. He's done nothing to really push this team forward with aggressive force to claim their stake in the NBA with a finals championship. Face it people, we've babied him, pampered him, propped him up, put him on a pedestal and given him credit when we shouldn't have, come on the guys not finals material. We've birth Dirk, but now it's time to kick him out of the crib, he needs to get out and experience life in the NBA. Dallas has suffered for so long until we're just sick thinking about what will happen come the next season. Do I sound pesimistic, yeah! I'm just sick to death about what's been going on.
Did you guys see me in the stands last night? They almost asked me to come down and play in the forth quarter, I was pissed! Highly Pissed! The Mavs played hard, but not with enough passion, no sense of urgency or like they really wanted to go to the finals.
Mark Cuban's made some of the stupidest mistakes a franchise owner could ever make, and he has the audacity to get mad...heck Mark you changed the chemistry of the team, what do you expect? Ok, I think I'll get off my soap box now, get in my porsche and head home. I can only tell you that from this point on there's going to be some major head choppin' and what the heck anyway, I wouldn't care if they ditched the whole team at this point, how could it hurt? But to reflect, just remember you don't start changing players right in the middle of the season, not good business at all. Jason Kidd has done nothing but pass the buck since he stepped on the court "literally!" Where's Devin? Josh what's up with you?
You know when I saw the post game show, Derrick looked like he wanted to cry, I felt so sorry for him. Hats of to all of the crew though, Derrick, Gina, Mark, Bob, Coop, Brad and the mavs media crew...you guys did an excellent job covering the Mavs as always. I loved every moment of the coverage you gave to help the team and keep them on the map.
Lastly, will I be back? You bet cha! I'm just disappointed right now, but I'll be back next season, so until then let's see what goes down with the Mavs and keep our ear close to the railroad tracks for the changes coming down the line. Max, Nita, excellent job with your coverage this year and thanks for all you do at KDFW. (Nita call me sometime :) .
Goals:
-Get rid of Dirk! (period)-Rebuild the team-Keep JT-Get Josh some help (rehab) and -Dump Jason Kidd-Bring Devin Home-Play JJ more-Trade Dampier -Keep Avery (it hasn't been fair to him)-Get rid of Cuban (for sure)-Let's build a dynamic team for '09
Peace

Listen, Mavs...what's up fella's? Are we in "la-la land" or something? Do you need some Pepsi's???
WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!
THIS IS THE FRICKIN' PLAYOFFS, YOU'RE IN, WHAT MORE DO WE NEED TO SAY IN ORDER FOR THIS NIGHTMARE TO STOP?
Let's Reflect:
Remember the Miami Heat? Remember what happened out of no where?
Remember the Golden State Warriors? Remember what happened out of no where?
Fella's......
WAKE UP, FOR PETE SAKE, WAKE UP!
Did you guys hear about what happened on ESPN with Josh Howard? I was shocked! Now I'm upset. I can't believe that this guy whom all of us have had respect for, looked up to as an example of an intelligent youngman, top level personality, professional african-american male, college grad from Wake Forest....need I say more? What a let down. Josh's comments although honest were absolutely stupid. This my friends is an example of not just another great player affecting the league, it's an example of why accountability (especially at his level) needs to be apart of a youngman's life.
We already have enough bad examples and stupid examples because people don't care about the quality that they inevitably can reach for in their lives, but the reason why we need supporting people who do understand various levels of developing a quality life and living a quality life are so important. It doesn't matter hoe much money you make, nor how high on the corporate scale you rise, what your family status is or if you've never had to want for anything in life...everyone has to strive for setting the best examples we possibly can for our younger generation. No one is immune.
*Note: I will really be upset with you who are in media, if you use this as a time to enable negative comments and bashing to Josh. I trust that the media will do what is right and not take advantage of this youngman as I have seen from those who have no sensitivity and dignity in respect of a person who we see here that obviously has lost focus, but needs direction to keep his life on the right track. Please media, do the right thing **
Someone needs to find out and understand why Josh would all of a sudden open up and tell the world of his admittance with drugs in past summer's. What I do see and hear ( if professionals out there are listening also) is that this is the time Josh needs our help. Yeah it's disappointing to hear something like this, but we don't need to begin bashing Josh and beating him into the ground. It's obvious that he needs professional help and counseling to begin the process of recovery from something that has gripped his life in a way that cause so many to lose focus, lower self-esteem and damage the normal flow of life. I'm no counselor, but I immediately hear the cry of a youngman asking for help. Does anybody else hear this? Oh my word, please folks...we've got to lend Josh our support.
We can't enable him with this habit or condone his behavior, but we certainly can offer suggestions for help, proper counseling, support and encouragement to do the right thing. Not only for himself, but because there are so many of us who love him, love his game and love the kids we take to see him and many of the games.
Let's get Josh some help before we lose him!

OH MY GOODNESS!
Ok all you "nay-sayers"...say what? Did the Mavs come through tonight or did they not?
This Round is Ours Baby!
I love what happened with the boys tonight. In the words of Mark Followill "It's All About The D!" Don't tell me what my boys can't do!!!!!!!!!
Let the record show: Dallas 97, New Orleans 87
Alright folks, our backs are up against the wall this next game. And honestly, the Mavs have put themselves in this "stick-wicket" and they'll have to get themselves out of it.
This spot we're in really sucks big-time!
So, once again we're in the playoffs, we have an opportunity to win the first round (if we don't lose heart, aggressiveness and focus). We need to bust out of the gates with the mentality that nothing will keep us from heading to the second round, and then the finals!!!
THIS ROUND BELONGS TO US!
So we need "die-hard" fans to help boost us in the game, can I count on you guys?
I WILL SEE YOU IN THE STANDS FANS, I'LL BE BOOSTING US UP IN THE STANDS, SEE YOU THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So What? We Can Still Do it!

Ok, so what? We lost the second game, in the first round, the third time around.... Should we be nervous? Should we panic and throw in the towel? Why is everybody so pessimistic? Now you want to get rid of Avery, now you know for sure Kidd was overkill, come on...do you really?
People these are the playoffs, do you just expect other teams to lay down on the court and say , "ok Mavs, it's you turn to win so we'll let you have this one"...Heck no! This is a dog-fight, all the way to the end. So if the Mavs want to just want to lay down and keel-over, that's up to them, but it sure would be stupid to work THIS hard and fork it all over to the opponents.
What we need and I'll reiterate, is Consistency, Agressiveness and Focus. Ok, yes...last night's game against NO was ridiculous, it stunk to the high heavens. But, what we know about the Mavs in clutch situations is that they have the capacity and skill to turn things around with ferver. Fans, let's not give up so easily, come on, we're in the Playoffs...good greif Charlie Brown! Let's make gumbo out those guys in New Orleans!

It's Time To Get Serious!
Are you kidding me? Come on Mavs...you're making us nervous!!! We have got to push, this IS OUR TIME. Aren't you tired of making it just inside of the party and then being told you can't stay? OH NO, Let's take this with attitude or should I say "baskettude!" We just can't let this slip through our hands another year.
Are you kidding me...the Hornets? What? Please! I don't even want to give C.Paul credit...just let's get on our game and rule this series! No time for apathy here. Come on boys, I've already got money for my FInals tickets (and I've got guests)...Please don't let us down. You deserve to be where you are and you deserve to go all the way, and win all the way. We are no longer the underdogs.
GO MAVERICKS GO, GO MAVERICKS GO, GO MAVERICKS GO!

In the words of the ever smooth "Fabulous Thunderbirds," WRAP IT UP....MAVS!
This is where the rubber meets the road and Avery, Mavs...you've got me so nervous that my hair is on edge and literally standing up (as you can see from my last photo at the Mavs loss to the Sonics. Dude's I'm going to need a serious haircut after this one!
Let's see if we can pull things off in the next game, hopefully we'll be able to give Eddie Jones some serious play time, and what about Stack... is he coming back? We're looking at the hornets and hopefully we can hold them at bay with a solid win to clinch the 7th seed spot.
Anybody have any ideas on what the best line-up might be before we tip-off on Wednesday? We need a consistent flow, with progressive domination, because as close as it is now you know every team that has to face Dallas will be breathing vengence to keep 'em struggling to get to the next round.
You know we can't keep this loss thing alive, I'm beginning to feel like Yoda!
MERCY! We're in People, WE ARE IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Need I say more? I'm Am Lovin' it to the highest degree!
This was really a tight game with the Jazz, and I wasn't so sure we'd pull it off...but our man Dirk basically "turned the lights out on the Jazz" with great style. Good night Jazz, sleep tight and see you later. We're hungry, we can taste it, we deserve it and it's our time....and in the words of Bob, Gina and D.Harper "What a heck of a win!"
I'll see you guys at the AA .... in the playoffs!

Fantastic game the other day with the Mavs against the Suns. We got the win, we really needed it. Now, we just need to focus on the next few games. Fans have you been noticing a chemistry boost with the team?
Yeah, a natural chemistry boost which has propelled them forward with a geater sense of urgency. Keep it up Mavs, Dirk was definately firing on all cylinders despite continuing to heal from the injury he suffered a few games back.
Let's keep 'em going fans! Go Mavs!
P.S. I'm just glad to see we don't have to play the Golden Fried Wimps anymore. :)

Fantastic Win! Mavs aficianados we needed this win, and we got it! Wow! This was a chilling game, action packed, heavy on the defense, and dynamic on the offensive.
JH, JT, BB, JK, DG, EJ put up the numbers like a playoff team. And what a night for my boy Dirk, Gezzzzzzzzzzz this was a nice boost for the crew, very nice. I think we were all surprised at Dirk's return, and he made quite a statement that will last with Golden State for a long time to come.
This was a sweet taste of pay-back for what they did to us last year, it left such a bad taste in the mouths of the team that you couldn't convince them that they wouldn't dominate this game with passion and focus. Fantastic, just incredibly fantastic! Now secure in the 7th seed spot, but still working to push our way back up from never-never land.
Love-n-it!
What do you think fans, will they make it to the playoffs or was this just a B-12 shot for the Mavs?
(What's up phoint1?)
